It's sad that this sort of thing happens every day. People often think that the people they are dealing with are honest and abide by what they say. The reality is it's a song and a dance to get you to sign paper work he often contradicts what was offered. Future buyers can learn from this mis-hap. Don't be rushed into anything, if you truly don't have time walk away and come back when you do have time. Buying a car is potentially the 2nd largest purchase you will ever make, why rush or allow yourself to be rushed. Read everything you will be signing, if you don't understand something ask for them to explain it until you do, if you still don't come back with someone who can help you. If anybody promises you something or says they are getting you some kind of deal or bonus, ask them to put it in writing and sign it. If they don't do it then and there or say "it will be in your contract," they are probably lying. If something seems fishly it probably is. Please note that once you drive a vehicle off the lot you most likely are stuck with it. Research your states right of rescission laws regarding auto loans. By all means if you have NEVER purchased a car before be sure to take someone who has bought a few with you.

"... was so rushed that even Albert the finance manager was confused and he expressed this several times..." Believe me, Albert was not confused in the least. He wanted papers flipping around his desk as fast as he could, telling you to sign here and there without getting a chance to read any of them. He does this 8-10 hours a day, believe me - he was not confused in the least. Sorry you got a rotten deal, but the old adage "read before you sign". If you are so rushed you don't have time to READ everything just say you'll be back tomorrow when you have more time. They will howl, but you'll end up with a better deal if they are trying to mess with the figures.

I learned a few things and would like to share them with everybody.
If possible try to get your bank to finance your vehicle, I had my own loan but somehow a contract I did not sign was sent instead. They are such liars that people like Mike Terry will find a way to screw the customer anyway.
Don't sign this form subject to approval
Make sure your contract has a purchase order with it Follow through on everything they do even if they lie which they will Don't sign for gap, check your car insurance to see if they offer it
If a second contract is written get an acknowledgment of rewritten contract.
Dont let the finance department talk you into anything. Nothing is given to us as a consumer for free, we are charged somewhere in the contract for it. The more they talk us into buying the more they get paid.
This issue was resolved but, I as a conusmer am not happy the way I was treated. I tried all my resourses like the BBB, AADA and the news channels but I still had to do my own homework. Dont give up and fight back until the issue is resolved.
Dont trust Mike Terry, Robin Eveland and John Ellegard, they all lie. All work for Larry Miller Toyota (how sad)
