LARRY'S TRANSMISSION, TRANSMISSION REBUILD RIPOFF BY DISHONEST MECHANIC HUMBOLDT Tennessee
We took our truck to Larry's Transmission because of transmission problems (gears slipping). He "supposedly" rebuilt the transmission and charged us accordingly. We picked up the truck and came home.
When the "symptoms" did not go away, we took the truck back to him. He told us that it could be the battery or the alternator. I told him I was not convinced so we took the truck back to his shop a third time for him to look at it further.
About 1 1/2 weeks later we picked up the truck again. Between the $932.88 we spent for parts and labor and the $156.00 we spent for car rental fees, We are still having problems and are still searching for an honest mechanic.
Please avoid this mechanic. He is extremely dishonest and does not care about his reputation.
