Le Reve Hotel and Spa - Playa del Carmen Vacation Club Scam/ Riff off Playa del Carme Playa del Carmen, Mexico
In April, 2015, we were introduced to vacation club options at Le Reve Hotel and Spa. It is a small boutique hotel.
Sold as an option for 4 weeks/ 20 years. 2 of the weeks would be rented for income of $1500. Fractional Rentals billed a fee for this service. Contract would be mailed within 30 days. Program effective 2016.
Fast forward to 2016. Fractional Rentals does not exist. No contact information forthcoming.
Hotel facility charges a daily rate for COMPULSORY $100/ person all-inclusive option for use of facility. I can get arrangements cheaper at a variety of hotels, without Le Reve membership.
Sales person Ana Garcia is unapologetic, and aggressive.
Very disappointed that NOTHING promised will be delivered. I am very turned off of Mexico experience and will never chose there as a vacation option.
Chalking up to an expensive lesson. I have lost $4800.
