I found Leadlink online and filled out their online application. A STEVEN ANDERSON called me a few days later and left me a message saying that I was approved for a 6,000 loan. I felt relieved and too excited to even care how I did it with my credit. I called him back and asked how the process worked. He told me that I would have to put a down payment of $975 (by Money Gram) and the funds would be available to me the next morning.

This was a Friday night and I told him that I would get off work by 5:30. He said to call him then and he would talk me through getting the Money Gram. I called him back after work and he never answered. I then called him Monday morning and asked what had happened and he apologized so I thought nothing of it. I asked him if it was ok that I only had $600 to put down.

He said he would talk to his supervisor and 5 seconds later approved the $600. Again I went to the nearest Wal-Mart to purchase this Money Gram for $600 and sent it to a guy named ANDREW G. WARD. I gave STEVEN ANDERSON the reference number to the money gram and he said "Congratulations, your funds will be in your account tomorrow morning." I asked what time, he said around 9 am.

He also said that someone from the office would be contacting me to welcome me or whatever and let me know that the funds were available. I woke up the next morning and NO funds were available. I called their office and was told to call the customer service line at extension 100. I did that and another guy, whose name I did not catch due to the lack of professionalism in his voice because he was mumbling the whole time I was talking to him, told me that the funds were not in my account because my file had to be run by a second review and they now required from me a second payment of $600.

First of all, If I knew that this loan was gonna cost me $1200 I wouldnt have agreed to it and Secondly, STEVEN ANDERSON never told me about a second review, a second payment, or anything that this mumbling man was telling me. I asked to speak to his manager and he told me he was the manager. I asked to speak to STEVEN ANDERSON because that was not the agreement when I got this loan and he said that as soon as a customer agrees with a loan the file gets passed on to the customer service room.

Yeah it was agreed upon but not on the NEW terms that this man was giving me. I asked for a REFUND and he told me that it would take 30 days to process the refund. If I could get $600 to him in 1 night...i'm pretty sure they can refund my $600 in one night also. I really really really highly recommend that nobody TRUST in Leadlink Financial. They give you high hopes and finish you off with regret. Who knows If i'll ever see that $600 again. I did however file a complaint with the Attorney General of New Hampshire. I hope this gets resolved soon.

I just had this same thing happen but by a different company. They said I needed to send money and I thought why not sounded ok since I knew my credit. After sending the money thru Wal-Mart Money Gram I called and gave them the reference number was told my funds would be in my account by the next day. Next day (Friday) came and went and I thought ok maybe bank needs to update system, so Saturday checked account and no funds received message on cellphone that so and so no longer handles your account it is now on this desk and please call so we can straighten this out. Took 5 hours to get a live body and she stated clitch in system had me as a returning customer instead of new so now after sending the 500.00 they wanted 400.00 for insurance which I did not have. So now loan has been cancelled and was told it would take 15 days to receive refund, mean while electric has been turned off since I used the last little bit of money I had thinking this would help me get ahead. Jusat wanted you to know you are not alone. I feel your pain.
