Today (12/19/05) I received a call from a Liberty League International representative in response to my search for an online job. I will not include the representatives name because he hasn't lied to me yet; however having worked Business to Business sales for one month, I noticed that he failed to mention what the job was and what the requirements are. I asked him a direct question and he got a little defensive and stated that I would find out all of my questions and what the company does during a tele-meeting (live or recorded my choice). I will not be calling to listen to the meeting. It is clear to me, based on the dogged and somewhat nasty tone of some of the Liberty League International Defenders, that something is not right. Thanks Rip-Off Report Alberta - Baltimore, MD

Ron, no pun intended. The post provided some BBB facts, Wow! Liberty League International BBB REPORT: Number of complaints processed by the BBB in last 36 Months: 29 Number of complaints processed by the BBB in last 12 months: 21 Lets Look at Geico (Not Registered with the BBB) BBB REPORT: http://www.dc.bbb.org/report.html?national=Y&compid=8768 Number of complaints processed by the BBB over the last 36 months: 229 Number of complaints processed by the BBB in the last 12 months: 90 Lets Also Look At Microsoft BBB REPORT: http://www.thebbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=501264 The Bureau processed a total of 2920 complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total of 2920 complaints closed in 36 months, 373 were closed in the last year. If so many want to base the integrity of Liberty League International on BBB facts then do so. But lets also see you discontinue car insurance with Geico, and lets see you rid your computer of Microsoft Windows. Ladies and gentlemen lets be adults here and not look for a pitty excuse not to take control of your life. Truth be told however, LLI cannot screen the individuals who decide to be part of the organization. You will have some bad apples (sponsors) who do not have the capacity to lead therefore some individuals fail. This failure is what spawns the reports to the BBB. Need more on LLI, do a search on profiteks, a marketing firm dedicated to the success of network marketers, specifically LLI distributors. Otherwise god bless you in your efforts as I pray 2006 will be your year in the lords favor

I too decided to look into this "opportunity" after responding to a website ad, being contacted, and listening to the so-called "live" conference call. Just so you know, I'm a very successful straight-commissioned sales closer with a Marketing Degree. I will earn ~$142K this year, and am looking to avoid the increasingly heavy traffic jams here in So. Cal. - thus, my quest for a hi-earnings potential home-based Internet Business. I must say that it is up to YOU to take personal responsibility and do your own DUE DILIGENCE! After spending close to 3 hrs researching and reading about both sides of this opportunity, I have to say that I must trust my "gut instinct"... and that is to "PASS" on this one! I will provide a few links so you can research for yourself. Also,I will give you a few of my thoughts and impressions. BBB REPORT: http://www.data.bbb.org/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=phoenix/phoenix/showrpt.html?language=english&zid=37001115 CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to a pattern of complaints. Complaints are concerning selling practices. Specifically, complaints allege misrepresentation of the products or services offered by the company. Complaints also concern requests for refunds. Closed Complaints Number of complaints processed by the BBB in last 36 Months: 29 Number of complaints processed by the BBB in last 12 months: 21 Prospective investors should carefully examine a multi-level sales program to be reasonably certain it is not a pyramid scheme which emphasizes recruitment of distributors rather than retail sale of the product. Investors should be wary of promises of high potential earnings, especially without effort, time and serious personal commitment. *********************************** My Thoughts: They are NOT a member of the BBB! They've had 21 complaints in the last 12 months, and only 8 more in the prior 24 mos... interesting - possibly due to the growth of recruitment and the expansion over the internet. Yet, relative to the hundreds or even thousands of new recruits, that is a small percentage. It also appears that they have attempted to resolve issues in most cases. Hmmm... mixed feelings, but red flag! 4 Pages on Work at Home Forum: http://www.wahm.com/boards/Forum59/HTML/000122.html WOW!!! That was a lot of reading! Both pros and cons. My Thoughts: It seems interesting that there are so many LLI reps that are defending stories from people that say they have put in a 100% effort for over 6 mos, yet did not achieve the lucrative earnings that were being "sold". Oh, and on that note - the FIRST thing that really set off my "gut feeling", was the continued usage of the phrase, "No selling, telling, or explaining!" Whoa...Whoa...Whoa, how the hell are you going to sell self-improvement, expensive trips, and a Lifestyle Concept without doing a lot of selling. (REMEMBER: I LOVE selling and am very good at it!) Here's the email regarding Conference Call: ** Please note these asterisks that I placed to show you a "SALES TECHNIQUE"! This email is to confirm your reservation for the Presentation Call we recently discussed. Instructions for accessing the call are below. During the call, ensure you are in a quiet area with a notepad and pen and can give 100% of your attention to the presenter. Take notes and write down your questions. You may wish to ask a few questions during the call, and write down the responses. Contact me immediately after the call so that I can review your questions with you. **Understand that I often have a waiting list of guests for each call. If you are unable to attend the call, please contact me so that I may offer your seat to someone from my Presentation Call waiting list. After call email: I attempted to reach you today to follow-up and assist you in moving forward, however, you weren't available so I left a message for you. When we spoke, you stated you were serious about being an entrepreneur and achieving a high level of success. At this point, you were invited to learn exactly how to make that happen for yourself. Perhaps you don't realize the potential of what is on the table for you. I have assisted many people, just like you, who were serious about improving their life and financial situation. But, they realized it was up to them. They had to make the decision to get started first. Now it's up to you. You can review the information again by calling 866-404-3274. **Due to the number of people I have interested, I work only with people who take initiative. If you are serious about achieving the results you stated you were looking for, the next step is to contact me. _______________________________ ** These are techniques used to PREQUALIFY, create URGENCY, and to subconsciously make you react because it attacks your ego of being "worthy". ________________________________ These are WELL CRAFTED email sales replies - that I bet are part of the "standardized response" training kit! When I spoke to him, he sounded like a rookie reading from a canned script. And he avoided answering my questions - totally turned me OFF! (I did get out of him that he had only been involved for 6 weeks.) ...reminds me of the 'ol "Burn and Turn" Sales Organizations that have a revolving door of reps coming and going thru! Another site I found: http://www.learn2earnnow.com/LibertyLeague Anyway, I just wanted to add to the comments here on Ripoffreport.com. I LOVE this site! - it has saved me Big $$$$, and it saved my best friend over $60K by warning him about investing in a particular franchise. Ultimately, it is your decision - Just do you Due Diligence! Best of luck to you all!

Thank you Gabriel for making sound business sense. After having been an entrepreneur for 10 years and facing my fair share of challenges, I have seen more whiners than winners. Most people "make the decision" to start a business and then "make the decision" to quit for whatever reasons and then somehow make it a company company or product issue or an "outside of themselves" issue. LLI is a company that trains Winners, not whiners but of course everyone has the choice of being or becoming one of the two. So many quit any endeavor 5 minutes before the miracle, until they find the path of least resistence and embark on that road. Liberty League, does have tangible products....unless someone doesn't consider, books, cd's, and/or dvd's tangible - in which case, I assume they've never read a book, watched a video, or listened to a music CD in their lives. They also have conferences. Take a look around...valuable information does not come cheap. Ask anyone putting their kids through a college education. Wonder how much money Anthony Robbins has made on his conferences? I think it's in the multi-millions! Believe it or not, people enjoy surrounding themselves with the energy of positive and successful people offering information of how to become a successful person yourself. Once in awhile I see comments from people who have remained around the perimeters of opportunities that they may have spent all of 3 minutes looking into, but speak about them as if they are experts and so many people believe them. HELLLOOOOOOOOO! Anyone can say anything (good or bad) that they want about any company on the internet. Does that make it true or false or give it factual credibility? Learn to do your own due diligence and make up your own mind. There's two ways to build the tallest building. Either learn what it takes to build your own or knock down the guy that has already built one. Those that have the need from a negative mindset or just pure ignorance to knock down the other guys building, are just people who lack what it takes to build their own. Enough said. Gabriel...much success to you. And to the others that have created such a negative thread about a company you either know nothing about or "tried" but didn't make it happen, best of success to you too....Remember, YOU are the common denominator in every one of YOUR situations. I consider myself an intelligent enrepreneur. Therefore, I know an MLM scheme when I see it. I investigated LLI for the purpose of making money. It makes the world go round. Mr Osorio responded that he has done well with it. Mr Osorio is to be commended. That doesn't mean that is still isn't a border-line scam. The litmus test for LLI or any company promoting such "too-good-to-be-true" plans is to 1)note what they actually say up front. We have a "system" which can "make you rich". The word "system" is the tip-off. If it doesn't say "invention", "product" or "service", then it's probably a MLM scheme. 2)If the come on is that you are somehow "special" or "qualified" to do it, it's probably MLM. I saw this right up front with LLI. I was asked if I wanted to make lots of money. Of course, the expected answer is "yes". I already make lots of money so that was the wrong thing to say. I simply wanted to know what EXACTLY did they market. When they wouldn't tell me, it was "no thanks" and hung up. You see, this is one of the oldest "con games" in the business, so to speak. It borders on the illegal and usually is. Unlike cleaning supplies or vitamins or buying clubs, they offer no tangible product for your investment. If Mr. Orosio chooses to "sell" this scheme, it's his business. As for me, I think I'll move on to something more legit.

Ok so many point out how horrible it was to be part of LLI. How they failed miserably and lost so much money. Ladies and Gentlemen this is business. It's wierd how so many b***h and clamor on how they lost money with LLI, these are the same people who take out interest only loans on a home, and cry when the rates shoot up 2 years later and a great $1300 mortgage turns into a $1900 one (poor business decision). These are the same people who see their 401k dwindle to great depression lows, but still never cry foul or scam, they just press on because they know no other option. Your options outside of LLI are vast. With so many companies to choose from, the company you choose is by choice a psychological decision based on several variables (only the prospect knows). Truth is outside of LLI there are an abundance of great opportunities, From EPI to Eventis to Coastal Vacations. But just like LLI they are what "YOU" make them. I sress the word YOU. As an LLI Distributor dubbing as Bronxrep22 and Gabriel Osorio in many of these forums. I have stressed the need for business planning. No matter the business, no matter the prospect, no matter the product, a business plan is a must, and a solid understanding of business is required to some degree otherwise a "hustle" mentality is a must. I have had great success with LLI and I am not blind to the failures of others. This is the sole reason why I started a Network Marketing Firm. Profiteks, dedicated to bringing solid business and management solutions, to the get rich quick world of network marketing and it's players to think realistically of their goals and objectives. Below you will find many reasons why business fail, not just LLI'ers but the entire game. Early Start-up: Most businesses fail in the early stage from the lack of management skills, poor marketing, lack of financing, and cash flow problems. (If you do not have at least 10k to get started in this type of industry, don't bother) but also consider 10K start-up a bargain. Growth Stage: Many businesses fail in the growth stage because they lack the knowledge to face continual challenges and to recognize a time-sensitive opportunities.( creativity creates degrees of seperation, often garnishing competitive advantage, Yes I said it be the black sheep, forget the "PROVEN SYSTEM" and do things ways you see fit after all it's YOUR BUSINESS) Prematurity Stage: Many businesses fail in the prematurity stage because they do not understand the importance of expanding (meaning allocate your returns and re-invest in your business. Don't make your first 2 grand and by a plama TV, it amazes me how so many do this.) Maturity Stage: Many businesses fail in the maturity stage from the lack of experience in managing their financial and human capital aspects. (Consider LLI and the industry as a whole an opportunity of leverage)I took the money I made with LLI, re-invested in my business, real estate, micro-caps, mutual funds, and Profiteks, because of this my streams of income have grown exponentially, a six figure month is well in my command but not solely from LLI. However, honestly and truthfully LLI was a prelude to my current success. My MBA (formal education) also helps, but where would have that landed me if it wasn't for LLI, here's a hint, a 70K dollar job in NYC with a company currently on the brink of down-sizing (sound familiar?). I am more than grateful for LLI, my success, and divine favor. It pleases me even more to shoot down the ignorance of so many who put the blame on others rather than take accountabily for their decisions, or in-decisions. In the long run. This is your decision, this is your life, too valuable to play with, make it happen, make it work, and you will be handsomely rewarded. Whether it LLI or EPI, or anything else out there make sure you are ready to put forth a solid commitment, after all Corporate America was built by Entrepreneurs who gave it their all. Anyone thinking "Google" To anyone and everyone godbless This is Gabriel Osorio, adios

i got hip to ripoffreport a few years back. now i use it to reference every single--i mean every single--business opportunity that i find. it has been invaluable in this regard. i actually had these people on the phone with me. sounded credible. i was biting. but i pulled up ripoff just to make sure. MAN!!!!! was i lucky. your comments and the good folks here are commended. richard, you proly dont even read the rebuttles or responses, but if im ever in mesa, im buying you and yours dinner. your earned it. and rippoff people, keep doing what you do. it really works. i wish i could tell the world. this was from Dino on 25oct05, just hours after being invited to a conference call from robert piercy. now doubt someone from liberty was about to get a big claw into my a*s!!!!!!!! but no!!!!!!!!!!!
