Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Here we go again. I dispute this charge. Again, I have not received what I ordered. I have informed this company of that. What was delivered was not what I ordered? Therefore I have not received what I ordered. Pure and simple. You either provide what you advertise or get out of business.

The shortages are:

Bed frame base (missing)

Mattress retention cover (missing)

5 year warranty (missing) 1/5/20 (received 1/2/20) the 5 year part of the warranty covers 100 percent parts i.e. the motor goes bad during the 5 years you get a new motor you just pay the shipping. Return defective part for replacement. What I have received from the manufacturer is just a 2 year not a 5 year. See attachment. Again false advertising. (therefore missing)

Mattress received is not 100 percent pure Latex, (as claimed to be in ad) (therefore missing) see attached label. This is not 100 percent Latex mattress as they claim and as documented on the Mattress label. Regardless of that, it is no good for my back. As they have been informed just days after I received the mattress. They need to pick it up. If they want it, at their expense.

Federal Law prohibits it from being resold. They are in the original box waiting to be picked up. No good to me. Mattresses I got from QVC and HSN they did not want back and were given to Hope Harbor. They were not good for my back either.

When I am supplied with what I ordered I will happily pay in full if satisfied with the comfort for the items I ordered. They have yet to complete the order. I can not and will not authorize payment

Mattress is in original box waiting to be picked up. I have requested a call tag, days after receiving the items. They have yet to pick it up.

I have told this company from day one that I have not received what I ordered and what was received is unsatisfactory and to remove the items at their expense, based on their false advertising. For they have a totally false and deceptive ad, for which I have pointed out to them. I placed the order based solely on what they advertised and I expected 100 percent what they advertised. Not 99.9 in this case 60 percent.

I have a bad back. I tried the mattress and as I told them, it is no good for me. Over the past many years I have gone to many, many mattress show rooms. The only one that seems to be ok for my back is 100 percent latex. But, I do not want to pay $8000 show room price for this mattress, when an $800 lounge chair works great.

Months before I ordered this mattress I tried to find out who the manufacturer of the mattress was. They never would provide me with this information. So I rolled the dice. Since receiving the mattress all after the fact:

The manufacturer is located in Greenville, SC and they have a show room. Not only that, there is a mattress store in my town, I have come to find out that carries this same mattress. If I had known all this beforehand I could have tested the mattress first hand. I know why they did not want to provide this information because the price of these other folks is hundreds of dollars cheaper. I just wanted to save myself all this trouble. Test the mattress (kick the tires so to speak). I would have never ordered it. It is really their own fault when you get right down to it.

The next and last mattress I will try is the sleep number bed. If that does not work I am stuck in a lounge chair the rest of my life. I will just flat give up. Could be worse. At least in the right chair I have no pain and I sleep very well. Its my hope to find a mattress that will do the same.

This is not the first mattress but the 4th I have had to return to different companies. I have also tried and returned 4 lounge chairs. For the past 16 years since I returned from the Gulf War I have had to sleep in a lounge chair because of my back. I am a disabled Veteran, retired Military.

You have no idea the back pain I have, if I do not sleep just right. To say nothing of the pills I have to take if I do not sleep in just the right position. Its a living hell.

This mattress is of no use to me I told this company to come get it. Other companies I have had mattress from, just told me to dispose of them because it is against federal law to resell the mattress even if it was just slept on 1 night. After 3 nights of trying this mattress I put it back in the box.

I will give them 3 possible appointment dates to come pick it up. If they fail to do so I will turn them over to Hope Harbor, like the Salvation Army. They also pickup.

Pick up on:

January 21, 28, 29 2008, I just need to know the time.

This is the last I want to hear of this I issue.

I do not have an active valid credit card with USAA and will not activate my card until this is resolved. I always maintain a zero balance. My houses, cars, and kids educations are paid for. The only reason I have credit cards are for convenience. I pay cash for everything. I could care less about my credit rating. My credit is excellent and I flat refuse to pay for something that was ordered and not received what I expected based on their ad. It is that simple. I will continue to dispute this till the day I die. I will go to my grave with this on my credit record if need be and not care one little bit. 50 years from now who will care.

Let me give you this analogy you order a ring, a very nice solid gold diamond ring. The jewelry store you buy it from claims it is marked down from $6000 to $3000. You like it so you buy it with your handy dandy credit card. However, your insurance company requires you to get it appraised before they insure it and you find out it is worth $600 and you over paid $2400. What do you do? You inform the company you purchased it from and the credit card company that you refuse to pay. I ask you would you pay? Did you get what you expected? I expect 100 percent. That is it.

They can pick it up or take me to court. I guarantee I will win!

I guess I need to start writing to the Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, http://www.ripoffreport.com/ and State Attorney General for starters. This has gone on long enough I am feed up.

Sincerely,

PS I just checked there website would you believe they still after all this, are still falsely advertising There should be a law.

In business since 1996, Living in Comfort has countless satisfied customers. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, even when customers don't understand our descriptions. In this case our product description clearly states that the product BASE is 100% natural latex. However we try to go the extra mile to please our customers. Therefore, we contacted Larry. Happily we were able to resolve the misunderstanding. On February 26, Larry sent us a letter confirming that the issue had been resolved to his satisfaction. We wish him good luck with his next mattress purchase - the fifth one.
