Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

When the locksmith arrived (later than promised), I told him that the key did not work in the Front door or in the deadbolt in the Garage door.

He proceeded to tell me that the only thing he could do was drill the deadbolt.  He did not even look at the front door or attempt to pick any of the affected locks.

He spent about 30 seconds drilling out the deadbolt and then told me it would be $310.00

Thier website states $48.00 to 229.00 (includes $29.00 trip charge).

I told him I thought it would be around 200.00.  He said no.  I asked if there was a coupon code?  He said no.

I later found out that he could have just picked my front door lock and not destroyed my deadbolt in the garage.

He seemed to really want to replace/ rekey all four locks at $80.00 a lock ON TOP OF the cost of ruining my deadbolt.  I told him no.

When the company called to check on my service I told them it was too expensive and they said, yeah, if you have to drill it is more expensive.  But he did not HAVE to drill, he just chose the easiest thing.  He could have picked one of the locks.

I called customer support the next day at 1-855-443-2220 to try to get a break on the price, and to ask for an invoice.  When I got the invoice, I also emailed back requesting a refund of part of the fee.  They never responded.

These people are rip-off artists and prey on people, probably especially women who are panicked because they are locked out.  They prey on the emotions of the victims.  DO NOT USE.

I was able to speak to customer service again and asked for a refund.  I was told that the cost was correct since the Locksmith had re-keyed the locks.  I told them that he had never re-keyed the locks and that he was not being truthful.  I reminded them that he left the lock drilled, or effectively useless and I needed a refund for the re-keying portion that was never done.   I explained that my landlord had come and replaced the lock.
