Lowes Werner Ladder Rebate ripoff Burlington Ohio
Just read the ripoff report dated 9/5 from a Calif. customer about Lowes' Werner Ladder Rebate.
My wife and I received the same letter stating that the rebate would not be honored due to no UPC being enclosed. We enclosed EVERYTHING that was asked for on the rebate receipt including the UPC. My wife called the Lowes number on the refusal message and talked to a gentleman who promised that he would over-ride the refusal and we would get our rebate in 6-8 weeks. So far no rebate but we are hopeful! Maybe the gentleman that posted here earlier should give Lowes a call. Perhaps he would get his situation resolved as I hope we have.

LETS THINK A MOMENT. IF THERE IS A REBATE OFFERED THROUGH WERNER OR ANY OTHER COMPANY, WOULDNT THEY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING YOU WHATEVER IT IS OFFERED? I CAN SAY IN MY MANY YEARS AT CUSTOMER SERVICE WE HAVE DONE CASH PAID OUT FOR THOSE THAT HAVENT RECIEVED IT AND THE COMPANY DOESNT REIMBURSE US. A PRODUCT IS MADE BY A CERTAIN COMPANY AND WHEN THEY HAVE INDEPENDANT OFFERS THEY WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. BUT ON ANOTHER FACTOR, IF I AM WALKING TO THE FRONT FROM A BREAK, AND A CUSTOMER STOPS ME IN A DEPARTMENT I KKNOW NOTHING ABOUT, I OFFER TO RETRIEVE SOMEONE WHO DOES KNOW. MY SUGGESTION TO YOU FOLKS THAT DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR REBATE, CALL THE MANUFACTURER BECAUSE THEY KEEP THE RECORDS WE DONT
