I purchased two "authentic" Louis Vuitton handbags from Mari Adams at AuthenticLVbagsdotcom back in July of 2006.

She was all friendly and prompt in returning my e-mails as I asked questions about the bags I was purchasing.

I decided to order the two bags, sent her a Money Order in the amount of $820.00 to some address in Arizona that she told me to sent it to. As the days went by, I started to see some negative talk about this company. Getting cold feet, I decided to contact Ms Adams again and ask for my money back as I knew she hadn't shipped the bags out yet.

She wasn't so prompt in getting back to me when I requested my money back. However, I did get confirmation from my bank that she wasted no time in cashing my money order. When she finally did get back to me, she said that it was no problem, she would send me my money back.

So, again, didn't hear from her and no refund. So, then she finally sent me an e-mail stating that she did indeed mail me my refund money order and sent me a "rma #" as well.

I waited and waited for that money order, called my Post Office and according to them, the item was delivered, however I NEVER received it. Somehow, she used a tracking number that was registered to another item that WAS received to me that day, making it look like I received her refund (that one still baffles me).

Anyway, to make a long story short, she finally stopped communicating with me all together and I still have no refund for my $820.00.

I found out a few things about her so called company, such as she is using a template store, the servers in Canada. Her website registration information for the domain is a P.O. Box in Iowa, yet there is NO corporation by that name on file in the state of Iowa. The phone number she has listed on the registration comes up with nothing and a search on her name as owner, comes up with no one by that name. Her website was established in May of 2007, yet in her copyright disclaimer at the bottom of her homepage it says "1999-2007." The blonde woman on the website isn't her. The people on her testimonial page are all bogus. She only accepts payment through a Money Order, Cashiers check or Paypal e-check, all unprotected forms of payment.

Bottom line, STAY AWAY from this site, unless you want a fake Louis Vuitton bag or want to kiss your money good-bye as she doesn't ever send it back to you.

To reply to the rebuttal from Mari Adams, oops, I mean "Nancy".... I know that AuthenticLVbags aren't authentic at all, because there are other people on various websites telling of how they took their bag into the Louis Vuitton store and it was deemed FAKE. Other reports from people who have stated that they DID return their FAKE bags to you and their refund was never sent to them. There is another report on AuthenticLVbags right here on Rip-Off report, and if you Google AuthenticLVbags, you will see the various things people are saying about this rip off artist. As I stated in other reports I'm filing warning people about this company, if you see ANYTHING positive written about this company, it is simply the owner, Mari Adams, incognito, posing as a satisfied customer. In fact, I e-mailed Mari one of the reports that I filed yesterday to the contact e-mail address she always sends out [email protected] and low and behold, I got an e-mail back from a 1lollypop123@gmail(dotcom) and she blasted me about how people never read stupid blogs, and she knew all about my order, stated all sorts of facts about it. Proof that she goes by other names. Sounds to me, "Nancy," like "thou doest protest too much." I like the way you go over my report with a fine tooth comb and then at the end couldn't resist mentioning that you 'care' about this cause you bought a bag from there and (of course) IT was authentic. Just a concerned citizen?? I think not, just a concerned THIEF that her company practices are FINALLY being brought to light? I think so.

"Not Authentic at All" Seems in appropriate given the facts as Stated by Peasy

I believe "Peasy" as had a money disagreement or mishap with AuthenticLVBags.com or the postal service, but that she's taken this as an excuse to slander this company unfairly. She admits she cancelled her order BEFORE any merchandise was sent to her yet she makes these inconsistent comments: "NOT AUTHENTIC AT ALL!! TAKES YOUR RETURNED BAG, BUT, YOU'LL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN." - how can Peasy truthfully talk about authenticity or a returned bag when she says in the same report:"Getting cold feet, I decided to contact Ms Adams again and ask for my money back as I knew she hadn't shipped the bags out yet." and "So, then she finally sent me an e-mail stating that she did indeed mail me my refund money order and sent me a "rma #" as well." Its obvious that Peasy never even had a bag in hand to make the "not authentic" statement above nor the "unless you want a fake Louis Vuitton bag" comment she makes later in her report - her argument was over money for a cancelled order before any merchandise was examined by her and hence she has by logical deduction of her own report slandered the company unfairly. She further makes her complaint look irrational with her comment "I waited and waited for that money order, called my Post Office and according to them, the item was delivered, however I NEVER received it. Somehow, she used a tracking number that was registered to another item that WAS received to me that day, making it look like I received her refund (that one still baffles me)." It sounds to me that Peasy or the post office made a mistake, not the merchant. I have taken the time to point out the obvious wrongs in Peasy's report because I have purchased from this merchant this last Christmas and had no problems at all. I am planning on purchasing again, and I do check blogs/etc before buying anything online, and I was gassed to see this commentary - I almost took it at face value and wasn't going to purchase again until I read down into it, its just not valid and should be removed.
