Maria Duval An appalling way to try to deceive desparate people Jericho New York
I receive a letter from Maria Duval, giving me her renowned credentials along with how she could help me get through the next three weeks. She begins her letter:
"Your astral configuration combined with your financial and family situation means that an event of great importance will occur in your life in the next three weeks".
She continues by warning me of this event how it could change my whole life, and how she could get me through it to work towards my advantage. Her letter contains seven pages, in which she implies that if I did not respond to this letter my astrological configurations could affect my future in a fairly disturbing manner". She continues the letter with short stories of people she had helped with her services. The letter contains 7 pages, which after the 2nd page I got totally bored.
It was unfortunate for her, that she send this letter out to a psychic astrologer. What she implied about this event is not wrong, but it's how she implied it that makes it wrong, and unethical. For this reason, I am appalled by how someone who claims her renowned credentials demeans herself in this manner.
She uses scare tactics to work on the minds of people who are looking for a quick fix to their life problems. She may have held the highest honorary awards and degrees, but when it comes down to spiritual enlightenment, she flunked the course. I quote her letter's signature: "I have been placed on this earth to shine my inner light on those in need, this is my mission and I must accomplish it... This is how she draws the innocents into to considering what she offers in her letters. If one is a truly enlighten soul, one never needs to solicit their God given talents in this manner.
