Ive been doing mystery shopping for Marketforce for several months and I too was ripped off after the first few months, they have begun finding reasons why they cannot pay me. Seems to be when I tell the truth on the reports. They say the reason this time they cannot pay me is because all my times were rounded to zero. My minutes are exact as when I took them. I told them to remove me as a shopper because I do not work for free. I told them I would report them to the MSPA and the BBB, then I received a very nasty email response back today stating that I was in error because I did not report times to the very second. Everything else was correct on my timing but the seconds, REALLY? I used my precious gas, and took up my precious time for them to say "SORRY BUT WE CANT PAY YOU FOR THIS SHOP" There are tons of other mystery shopping companies out there that need me and can use my services, I dont need them.

Comcast Should be forced to credit for services not provided

Comcast should be foreced to provide compensation when they make you sign a 1-2 year contract and make you promise to keep that contract or they will charge you more.  What do they do when you sign that contract and they don't fulfill their end of the bargin.  The customer service reps don't documment in your file everytime you call or go in.  If you don't pay, they file a suit againt you...If they don't pay, we should file a suit against them.    Won't somone take on the big guys.  They are being allowed to take advantave of customers by forcing them to pay and if they don't they loose service, Yes if they fail to provide that service they were so quick to sign you into a 2 year contract, TOUGH.  That's what I was told.  I "was pretty much out of luck".  They didnt't provide a service yet they expect me to pay or they are going to cut me off.  Start cutting is all I can say, the check book is empty!

For 3 years I told them my internet service didn't work properly.  I called occasionally and complained.  Someone would come out or I would swap a moden and even went as far as leasing their great modem. DIDN"T WORK.  Now that I have started working about 6 months ago my internet has been in and out like constantly.  They don't care if I lost money, sleep, jobs and hours upon hours of my time.  They just want my money for something they did not provide me.

Don't try to contact corporate.  The little guy doesn't matter.  They will put the monkey on someone in the Customer Service Center's back and have them call you in lieu of calling or emailing you theirselves.

You know, Kharma is what they say it is.

I startef working with Marketforce several months ago.  I REALLY needed to make extra money to help with my mothers healthcare.  They have a jobboard which you can look at and apply for jobs.  When you read the guidelines it clearly states that you must follow them exactly.  When performins jobs and you are required to keep timing to the second, there is a reason.  You are in line at a fast food resturaunt, if you aren't keeping the exact timing to the second, the company does not have an accurate account of your shop.  The companies have time frames in which you should be able to go throught a drive through in let's say 1minute 10 seconds.  If they go over that by 30 seconds by each customer, well you do the numbers.  The company isn't getting a clear picutre of how long it's actuallly taking.  I'm sure you have waited in line at the drive throgh and wondered what was taking so long.  This is exactly why they do these surverys.  Those seconds add up to minutes.  As for myself, yes I have messes up on a few shops by not timing accurately and even performing the shop 2 minutes too early.  They contract with these companies and the companies give them guidelines to follow as well.  They contact for someone to shop a place from 11:15am -1:00pm,  If you start your shop at 11:14, I highly doubt you will be getting paid for this job.  At first it's not easy and you don't understand.  Once you do a few shops and really think about the reasons they ask certain questions and ask you to foloow certain guidelines you will understand.

As for being paid.  I Thank GOD every day for Marketforce.  The jobs they provide me put gas in my car and food on my table.  I work hard to perform every job and follow the guidelines as given in each job.  They pay on a regular basis and I can count on them to deposit my check when it is due.  I have never spoken to anyone at the company that was rude or our of line and I have never received an out of line comment in an email.  I have received emails stating a shop was invalid because I made a mistake.  I have also found that it's best to contact them if you do make a mistake because they will work with you to get it corrected rather than invalidate it.  They want you paid so they can get paid as well.  They can not submit an incorrect report so they can not accept an incorrect report.   I have found they are the best and easiest company to work with when it comes to Mystery Shopping.

Follow the guidelines and you will have a successful shop every time.

Good Luck

I have mystery shopped for Market force for over three years and have conducted hundreds of shops for the client the author has referred to.   I have never had an issue with my timings.   In the guidelines for the shop,  it states that timing is very important to the client,  so an accurate account of seconds is as important as the minutes.   Market force is a good company to work for.
