Masi Appearance Shop & Joe Nicolella Shoe store is a dye job ripoff. Sterling Heights, Michigan
My wife purchased a pair of $50 shoes for a wedding then paid another $10 to get them dyed. The store advertises to dye them "black" for free after you pay to have them colored.
After wearing the shoes one evening she returned them to get them dyed black. Upon returing to pick them up they were ruined. The sole edges were dyed as were the inner sole. The dye was rubbing off on my wife's hands. Completely unacceptable and could not be worn again. The store owner replied "what do you want for free"?
A week later I reuturned with my wife as the owners wife agreed to try and clean them up. Again they were unaccepatble and refused to grant a refund or exchange. After Mr. Nicolella yelled at us that it was the best he could do and again refused a refund or exchange, he gave us his business card and told us to take legal action.
He went in back of the store and refused to come back out. He is a rude and discourteous businessman. LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!
