Mattie Bowers Starts with a question about how many owners, can you provide a Carfax report, etc. Suggests http://vinfindusa.com/. They always say "I am satified", or "That seems fine to me". Internet
Clue: Scammers will almost never speak to you on the phone. Demand a conversation and if they won't call you or give you a number to call (not text), they're probably scammers.
This one is more sophisticated than most. Instead of "Is this still for sale?", I got "Does the same key fit the ignition and tank?".
Eventually, he get around to the telltale "This sounds fine to me", or "I am satisfied with the condition".
He insists on a Carfax-type report, apparently to get VIN and name information. He suggests his own website for it: http://vinfindusa.com/
At that point, he still would not call, after several requests, So I flamed him.
