Do not use Mehmet Akgun for your wedding photographer. What you see on his lovely website is not at all what you can expect to get. Here is what you can expect for $2800.00.
1. He requests all of the money up front in two different installments
2. He'll then come to your wedding, sit on his butt and eat while he takes some really lousy photos.
3. He'll send you a link to have you choose which photos out of anywhere from 500 - 1000 that you can tolerate.
4. Then Mehmet will provide you with the lowest and worst quality prints you've ever seen in your life - poor quality paper, fuzzy, blurry, overblown images, washed out color and detail, kind of like K-Mart family photos of the 1980's.
5. If you've ordered his most expensive album, he'll butcher your mediocre wedding photos even further with terrible editing (he'll actually cut your head off in the photos without any extra charge for this service) and then he'll offer you your horrible album (or dvd whichever or both that you've opted for), as if it's the finest thing in the world.
6. Since he has no clue or intention to deliver what you've paid for, he'll go hide and refuse to answer his phone or e-mail after he's promised to make it right.
7. Oila!! You are out $2800.00 and a year of frustration in trying to get your package - and you'll never get it!
8. You'll have to call all of your wedding guests to find out if they've taken any photographs of your wedding event and find out you could have hired one of them and gotten better photos. Thank God for one of our guests. We had to use what she took - and they were a LOT better than Mehmet Akgun's photos.
