It seems like everytime I login to this website there are more complaints about this truly awful dealership. I say you should keep that website up, don't even negotiate with the idiots working for the dealership because they are greedy and borderline evil. Of course they want the site down, they will lose business but the truth is they deserve to lose all business and shut down. I can't even tell you how many people I have met in the past year or so who have complaints about them. I also met the friend of a former employee who told me horror stories about what they used to train the employees to do: outright LIE, CHEAT and DECEIVE customers for a buck. Truly despicable and unethical.. Do ANYTHING you can to get the word out and bankrupt these fools. I am sure whoever Mel Clayton is would be ashamed of the pinheads representing his name. Unless of course he's as big a scumbag as the rest of them.

You really do need to do some research on how car dealerships scam the public BEFORE buying a car from one of them. Not doing so is like sticking your head in a sharks mouth and then when you get bit asking "Wow, I wonder why the shark bit me?". It's in the shark's nature to bite and it's in a car salesmen's nature to lie. That's what they do! Do you honestly think they are going to tell you what is wrong with the car you are looking at? Heck no, it's gonna be the best car in that make and model that they've ever laid eyes on! I only hope for your sake, that they make this right, but I surely wouldn't hold my breath, if I were you. Walk lightly and carry a big stick! Good luck, my friend!

They wanted to settle for $5000 & change, what they admit they over charged me. They SAY, they are correcting the warranty, extending the service contract (oil & filter change, tire rotation & multipoint check ONLY), install the lo Jack, I Got the tire pressure monitors. They owe us $7,088.00 so "I" suggested a possible resolution through a $7000.00 trade up. I found a sweet truck, with better options in what I considered the right price range, they agreed (with some haggeling), If done correctly this Would have satisfied us; Unfortunately, what they took off the front they added to the back (financing & paper work magic). it should have added $1000.00 to amount financed but instead added $5.000.00, so they were doing the Same Thing Again! Sorry Mel Claytton Ford You won't do me TWICE! I still haven't met the GM, OR see any heads roll, and I'm done negotiating; I won't settle NOW for less than $7088.00 they Owe + compensation for ALL this stress, trips to the dealership, time loss from my business, and wear & tear to my truck (it's a 60 mile round trip everytime I go)! Armando; I try to give people a chance, I run a business & I do everything possible to insure my customers get exactly what they pay for and are happy with it. I think everyone should. If my employee gives someone the shaft I'll do all I can to make it right, even to SOME extra compensation, & "I WILL fire the employee" I don't do business that way; but I don't want to be bent over by my customer either; I WANT to be fair & I only want what I pay for and only want to pay for what I get. Thats Fair & Honest and the way business SHOULD be done...

They first bent you over on a bad deal and really tried to screw you. You caught them at it and after some considerable effort on your part you got them to give you a decent deal, and now they are #1 with you? Now you're singing their praises? Talk about wishy-washy. Even so, if you still bought all those warranties and worthless insurance that you mentioned in your first purchase, I'm sure you still got hosed.

What I mentioned about the new truck? Well it took me another full day; And some tooth pulling, (if you know what I mean) but we settled.. I got a New 06 F150 Supercrew Lariat (like the other one) w/12 miles on the odometer Warranty, Lojack & EVEN my tire pressure monitors. In exchange, I have to transfer the domain, "melclaytonford.net" to them and sign a satisfaction statement.. Bottom Line.....They did me wrong but stepped up and MADE IT RIGHT! So Mel Clayton Ford is back in my good graces. There No, 1 with me! ! !

Today, 02/09/06, I was contacted by the GM of Mel Clayton Ford (Phoenix) wanting resolution. When I called Yesterday and left a message for him I sugested that he visited my web site. He did & wants it closed. He ask if it was all true, I told him it was. He ask what it would take to resolve my problems & get the web site down. I said, I had been a loyal customer and had even sent him customers and that all I wanted was what I had paid for and ask for. I'm to meet with him & the Finance Manager tomorrow morning. I was told there would be some people leaving there employ, with Kirt in the lead. I don't know, I was charged for a NEW 06 F150 Supercrew Lariat (MSRP 38,375) and this has caused me a LOT of headaches & travel! I think I should Either get a new contract, A refund of the overcharge, (to apply to the loan), & the warranty, service contract & Lo Jack; OR a New Truck , Wich is what I paid for!
