WARNING to Michigan Brides looking for a DJ company - I was going to be married June 9, 2012
and hired this company but a month ago my fiance was laid off and we had to change our venue and cancel contracts with vendors. We called 30 days ago to cancel this contract and request refund of the $350 deposit. These guys are unprofessional and rude - every time we call the manager or Daryl Scott the owner are not in the office so we have to leave several messages but they do not call back for several days or we have to call numerous times to speak with Scott or Daryl the owner. They refused to give me a refund even though my wedding date was over a year away and would be easy to re-book in the peak wedding month of June. Scott told her 3 weeks ago she would get a refund but it never came in the mail. We spoke with Scott last week and said it was processed on his end but her did not know when it was going to mailed or a date it was going to arrive in the mail. This has been a terrible experience for us to say the least and we only wanted our money back. This company is managed poorly and if you sign a contract but you are forced to cancel for any reason they will make it extremely difficult if you request a refund. I am very upset now as I have made several attempts to contact them with no luck.  When I changed the date I gave them over a years notice so I knew they would be able to re -book. We hired another DJ so I have paid twice for a DJ (one I am not using now) where do they get off keeping my money? I am sure things like this happen all the time with weddings as things change so how many other brides are they doing this too... I am VERY unhappy with this situation.

Had a conversation with the owner today and he felt compassionate and was understanding about my situation and he agreed to issue a full refund to me this week. This dispute is resolved and my fiance and I are satisfied with the outcome. Thanks so much!
