My Merces G Wagon caught in fire over SEVEN months ago. After this fire, I did a google search and found the follwoing.

my car has been in the Mercedes body shop since.

Following issues:

1) They gave the car back to me twice, without fully resolving the problem;

2) The head manager made a suggestive remark stating that there was a can of butane fluid in the back seat for my Cigar lighters. I am not sure why he said it, as adjusters have specialists to come and see causes of fires. However the fact he mentioned it, was suggestive. The root of the fire after examination was "wear and tear" on the wires.

3) Service is horrible. I dont know who to blame. However, having a car with the above caveats, and further, being afforded with the service as above is concerning.

Mercedes Benz has had my car for over 7 months. Here is my email to them...

You guys have had my car for over seven months and you had indicated that the wiring harness is still being made.

The above is not acceptable by any standards. For Mercedes Benz, as a whole, to not have a acceptable standard of fixing this car, is beyond me.

I am send you this email and will be holding this correspondence

"with prejudice",  in the event I litigate the matter associated

with the vehicle

Mercedes Benz, as a matter of quality control, should have parts ready and to not have to wait seven months (and counting) for a car to be fixed.

Please escalate to whomever you feel necessary,  as I will now be actively pursuing all remedies available in this matter. My insurance company has authorized the repairs and company is not coming to the plate in a timely manner.

I would also like this matter brought to the attention of Vaughn North Vancouver Mercedes, Mercedes Benz Canada,  and Mercedes Benz.

To be continued.
