 In my opinion,

I have been a South Point Club Member for the last 3-4 Years (before known as South Coast Casino).

Recently I started gaming at South Point where I would wager large amounts of money. Considered VIP gaming rates at EVERY Major Casino in the Las Vegas Area. Typically I won't use free rooms or reservations at these casino's because I own a second home in the area, but on occasion I will use them for friends coming out of town.

I hardly ever ask or use comps (Complimentary or bonuses to services typically at the casino/hotels) but on the occasions that I do, I will ask for VIP Treatment.

On Super Bowl Weekend 2010, I visited South Point Casino and Hotel to wager playing craps and blackjack. My wager averages 5-15 times what average players typically play per throw at the Casino. I gambled heavily for a couple days and lost around $2,000 - $2,500. On Saturday I called to speak to a Casino Host to ask him to book me for dinner reservations at a place I heard has fantastic food called "Michael's".

The person I spoke to told me I had not wagered enough for reservations and a complimentary meal for two at the resteraunt. I asked him for maybe a food voucher or credit and told him that "the place is maybe 75-100 per person and I am not asking for that much of a deal" He replied no way would he help me at all.. I told him I am a VIP at MGM and if I where calling them they would bend over backwards to help me. The Casino Host told me "YOU should call them then and take your play over to there then".

I then asked his name, he told me it was "Bobby Long" but later I found out his name is Bobby Love and he is not a Casino Host but someone higher up in the hotel.

This person had a REALLY bad attitude.. It reminds me of the remainder of old Las Vegas Thugs who ran the Casinos up until the mid 80's. On the phone he sounded like a complete burnout who was poised to be the Casino's TUFF GUY and refuse requests from players in order to help a company's bottom line.

The way they run their point system is a total scam and if you complain they tell you to take your business somewhere else.

I would avoid Wagering at this Casino at all costs..  Stick with a more reputable organization like MGM, Harra's or Sands. Not some rinky dink hotel on the edge of town. Run by former thugs who push people around when they ask for some rewards for playing at their location.

Again, in my opinion this place stinks.

You'll get no Love from Bobby.. His name should be Bobby Thug, not Bobby Love Las Vegas.
