november 15, 2002 i purchase a 1999 ford explore sports, i drove the car for two weeks and i begin to have problem with it, as you can see today is jan. 16, 2003 so it been two months anyway to make a long story short i took the car to get check at several of mechanics no one could tell me whats going with the car until this one guy told me the rocking arm in the engine was broke so i spend money on that and i call the company back and explain to them what happen and they gave me $200. towards the $947.00 for the repair of the rocking arm and after

that problem kept happening and finally i had enough so i took it to ford dealer and they told me that i need a new engine and i was upset because i got the car finance for 10,000. and i cant drive the vehicle man that sucks and i bought it as is but i never knew the engine need to be replace and i feel they seen a sucker coming and they took advantage of me.

several mechanic said they add some addictive to the engine and soon as the oil was change the stuff was drain and problems start showing up. they want to get me a use engine and said i have to pay for it and i said no because they falsify the vechichle in order to sell it and they should be held liable for that.

This is something that you should really know, when you go to any type of auto auction, dont expect to get a perfectly running vehicle. Reason is that, the cars that are there is that they are lemons like your Ford Explorer, they dont run no more, or they are repos. You should have considered the risks into getting a car from an auction. There is never a good chance that the car you get from there is going to be running in complete 100% condition. As for your comment saying they took advantage of you. Thats untrue. The mechanics you apparently took the vehicle too were apparently too lazy to find the acutal problem of the vehicle. When it comes to internal engine parts. The mechanics would have to rip apart the entire engine to find the cause. Stripping the engine would take days to do and find the problem. The mechanics dont wanna go through it completely to find the problem. They will at least get to some basic engine parts that are easy for them to replace and say the part is bad. As a reference if you want to take a vehicle to a mechanic shop, you are better off taking it to Autotire in St.Charles, thats on Droste.
