Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We were on our way into Home Depot in Martinez, CA and as we got out of the car a gentlemen in a white SUV Jeep stopped and asked if we speak Italian and we said no. He said "pardon my accent" then

said "'where are you from you look Italian" he was a  nice look olive skinned, blue eyes, dark hair gentlemen and then said he was at a showing at the Moscone Center in SF and has samples (jackets, shirts and suit) left and he didn't want to take them with him back to Italy tomorrow because he would have to pay taxes. He started unwrapping all these leather jackets, two mens, two womens, and mens suit and 4 shirts, 2 ties and 2 belts. We were not interested by he was so convincing that he grabbed the jackets and put them in an Armani canvas bag and said $500.00, we said we don't have $500 and he said go into Walmart and they have a versatel machine and my husband asked how much cash i had and we gathered $400.00 and he said little more to buy an X box for his son and something for him to drink and pulled out another $20.00 so we come to find out they are fakes.........

We were conned into purchasing these jackets that we didn't really want or need.

Someone get him!!!!!!  He is stealing from people, he needs to be prosecuted!

Variation on white van speakers

This is a variation of the world famous WHITE VAN SPEAKER scam.

You are approached in a parking lot or gas station.  You are told by the seller that they have an "extra" set of home theater speakers that their boss does not know about.  The speakers are usually sold from a white van or now days, an SUV.

Upshot is that you are offered a "$3,000.00," home theater system for a few hundred dollars.

Same scam - different product.

This same scam is happening in Central Florida...specificaly in Tampa..I was approached by some Italian guy (not sure of his name) he offered me some leather jackets (4) from BVLOG Di Milano using same speech. This time he used Macy's as the fashion show place and he showed me the rental car invoice (enterprise) and his Italian passport - He was heading to the airport and don't wanted to pay Taxes on this jackets.

I refused to his offers and was willing to give me the jackets for 200. I still refused and he drove away on a white SUV.

Apparently this same people is around in Florida. BEWARE.

Saw your report and want to let others know that this gentleman is still around, although now in San Mateo, CA.

He stopped me yesterday outside of the Chase Bank on El Camino & 19th. The same pitch, word for word, was used on me. He proceeded to try and tell me that he wanted to make three leather jackets a "gift" to me and I would just have to give him $600 for a fourth jacket.

When I told him I did not have $600 he then said he would take $400. When I told him this amount was more than I could afford, he said just go to the ATM and take out the max I could get.

Very persistant gentleman, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is still a duck. So be on the lookout. Sorry you got taken.
