Minute Maid (The Coca Cola Company) are selling a product with extrememly deceptive packaging and advertising. The product in specific is the so called "Minute Maid Premium 100 Pure Squeezed Orange Juice".
However, you would that that would mean Not from concentrate- right?? Every single word on the package presents the product how truly Not from concentrate juices are packaged... HOWEVER- DON'T_BE_FOOLED! In barely visible tiny text in front which is almost impossible to read for most adults... it is written "from concentrate".

I never knew that other from concentrate juices were made from petroleum! This juice really must be super special considering it is made of oranges...

So be aware- you are being fooled into paying for From Concentrate juice when for the same price, you could be getting REAL  pure squeezed orange juice from honest farmers and companies

DON'T BE FOOLED!

..but I would cut the OP a little slack here. In all fairness, there is a degree of deception used when just about any product uses the term "pure". Now, if the product had stated it was "fresh" squeezed, that would be another story.

McDonalds was used an an example. They claim 100% "pure" beef. All well and good...but what part of the cow specifically is "beef"? In that example...the focus is on the "100%", and "pure". It would probably be a better burger if they used "fresh" "beef", and as well...publicized the cut of the meat other then "beef". However this does not mean they use any parts of the cow that are not considered meat...but it is something to consider.

I love fresh squeezed OJ...but understand that cost a lot...a HECK of a lot more then anything from concentrate..I expect to pay at least 10 dollars anything actually fresh squeezed even for half the amount of a 64oz minute maid. As far as this product..it simply states "pure" squeezed. Well how else would you get the juice out of an orange fresh, concentrate or otherwise without squeezing it?

Here is what I found when I looked up this product. It does not seem they are hiding anything..but I would agree they are using the term "pure" squeezed hoping some believe it is "fresh" squeezed.

You're upset because the juice that is labeled as being "from concentrate" is in fact from concentrate? Thanks for the warning!

Your next assignment is to go to McDonald's. Several of us believe that even though McDonald's claims that their burgers are made to order they are still cooking the patties ahead of time. We need somebody with your investigative skills to look into this.

By the way, if you want some orange juice that is not from concentrate or have sweeteners added, try Simply Orange which is owned by the Minute Maid division of Coca-Cola.

You said in your report that the label states that it's from concentrate.

Are you just complaining about the size of the print or what?  I guess I don't know what the ripoff is.
