Complaint Review: MiramarOne - Internet

Having experienced ongoing struggle since establishing my business to get my business found online, I turned to MiramarOne for SEO help, paying $89.99 for a year of SEO service. MiramarOne's website indicated that if I purchased a year of their service I would get a second year free of charge. 

On their website one repeatedly reads about their "1st page search engine ranking." According to the first email I received from MiramarOne on 12/06/2016, "your campaign is already swapped to 'off-site' after purchase and that work is actually almost complete and within 24 hours of now that first set of off-site work will be in your email. Everything will lead to excellent results."

An email communication from MiramarOne on 12/03/2016 reads, "We complete all of the initial work within 48 hours and have the great results to you within 2 weeks." It is now 01/13/2017, and I'm STILL waiting on these supposed 'excellent results' promised to me.

I've emailed MiramarOne many times, asking when my "results" should arrive--when I should finally see these "1st page search engine rankings" they are so insistent that customers will achieve in an extra-short time. More than a month later, and I'm still waiting. I contacted their customer support on 01/01/2017 to advise that I had seen an uptick in traffic to my website, which still has not converted to actual sales, and that I suspected this to be bot traffic (primarily because the approximate amount of visitors and time spent on website according to Google Analytics has remained quite constant). I sent copies of Google Analytics reports to them but received no reply until 01/03/2017 when they sent an email to say that they had completed an offsite commercial for my website with instructions for me to follow to get things off the ground. What happened to the "2 weeks" they initially promised me more than a month ago??? I implemented all of the email's instructions and waited the "7 business days" advised in this email to check my website's ranking at a URL they provided--a URL they advised that would not be active until after 7 business days. After 7 business days had gone by--STILL nothing. The URL didn't even go active.

Fed up with empty promises, I emailed them yet again for help (they do not provide a phone number for customer support)--both on 01/12/2017 and 01/13/2017--ABSOLUTELY NO REPLY FROM THEM!!!

So basically I have been waiting a month and a half without any results whatsoever for something they initially promised me I would have within 2 weeks. I am a simple person with very simple expectations: DO WHAT YOU PROMISE TO DO. I don't get upset otherwise, and I've certainly given MiramarOne multiple chances. Don't waste your money; you won't get the "1st page search engine ranking"--and most certainly not within 2 weeks.

I do not want a refund from MiramarOne. I want the results I was promised, and I want them immediately. I've waited long enough (6 weeks for something promised within 2 weeks) for MiramarOne to do what they promised to do, and they still haven't delivered.

After initially filing a complaint against MiramarOne, I added a previous rebuttal due to the company's apparent willingness to address some of my concerns. However, MiramarOne continues to neglect its paying customers once the money has been collected. 

Previously, MiramarOne sent me instructions on 01/03/2017 for requesting a copy of their ranking report for my website each month, as well as for requesting each month that they produce a new video for my company's marketing efforts. Neither of the URLs for this mentioned in their email instructions has worked since the day they sent the instructions to me. 

"Tia" seems to be the only person working in customer support at MiramarOne (this is the only individual I have ever received emails from), and she advised me after filing my complaint against the company that she did not understand why I did not first email customer support for help. I told her that I had repeatedly sent emails, which went ignored. 

Here we go again...

On January 28, 2017 I emailed customer support to request my monthly ranking report and promotional video...no response.

On February 1, 2017 I emailed customer support again...no response.

I emailed yet again on February 3, 2017 to request these items...again, no response. 

In my email dated February 3, 2017, I mention specifically, "It has now been nearly a week since I originally requested my video commercial for the month of February 2017, as well as an updated keyword report. However, I have received no response whatsoever to either of my two attempts to contact MiramarOne. This is much of the reason I previously filed a formal complaint against the company. If MiramarOne advertises that it provides customer service "7 days" out of the week, as is advertised on MiramarOne's website, then it needs to respond to customer issues in a more timely manner. Please respond to my request as soon as you receive this notice; my business cannot afford to wait indefinitely for services purchased."

For a company, which according to its website offers support "365 Days a Year", I am not at all impressed with the company's inability to respond to even one of three email requests for customer support. MiramarOne has achieved some keyword rankings for my website, according to the previous ranking report I received, but honestly this so-called "customer support" is beyond sad. Their website reads that "When every other company has switched off their laptop's and turned out the lights of the office for the day, our Client Support is still firmly awake. Who else do you know that are available 8.30am to 8.30pm weekdays, and then 10am - 6pm over the weekend. Truly awesome support" If this is the case--that they have a "team" available to provide customer support 7 days per week--I would think that at least one of their "team" would have been able to respond to at least one of my 3 email messages over the past 8 days.

I would very much like to continue working with MiramarOne to achieve my marketing goals, for they have been the only SEO company I have yet found, which has actually ranked keywords for my website. However, they very honestly leave much to be desired when it comes to providing ongoing support to their customers.

Although MiramarOne did not request that I do so, I wanted to take a moment to add a rebuttal to my initial complaint. It has been incredibly trying for me over the past two years, trying to actually find an SEO/digital marketing company, which will do what it claims. 

My frustration is apparent in my complaint, and I think that much of this frustration relates to timeframes given by the companies and lack of timely communication with me about marketing efforts. After notifying MiramarOne of my complaint I again contacted customer support. Although they did require a few days to respond, MiramarOne sent to me a full report of keywords they had been targeting for my business, as well as the current ranking positions for those keywords. While my website traffic is still not where I would like for it to be, I must admit that I AM AMAZED by what I discovered when I verified the ranking positions. I found that I now rank on page 1 or 2 for a few of the high-competition keywords, which so many other SEO companies refused to even pursue.

I want to give credit where credit is due. MiramarOne is the very first company, which has actually demonstrated to me the work they are doing and the results! While this has not yet resulted in an increase in sales, I remain optimistic. MiramarOne was a bit slow in initializing their marketing efforts for my business and is often a bit slow in responding to customer support inquiries, but the results do not lie. I'll definitely be sticking with this company!
