Lina and Joel Haygood own and operate Miso Happie Mini Pigs and several other businesses on their property in Bastrop, TX. The conditions that these poor pigs live in are deplorable. There are pigs with pneumonia, numerous viruses, mange so bad that they have open sores and multiple birth defects. These pigs are being sold to families in every state. Family pets and small children are at great health risk from these innocent pigs.
Not to mention, the pork industry could be endangered from the illnesses that these pigs are forced to live with. Every ailment that these pigs have are both treatable and preventable with proper veterinary care. Also, Lina castrates the male piglets and charges a fee, which is illegal. She has had many neglect cases against her in the past, but she is friends with the local authorities, so nothing has been done. In addition to the horrific treatment of these pigs, Lina refuses to honor her health guarantee when the piglets die of these diseases, so she is also committing fraud and Theft.
She also ships piglets all over the country with no health certificates, USDA violation. When I went to investigate her farm, there were 3 dead piglets laying in the same paddock as all of the other pigs. All of the available water was thick with algae, there was scrap metal around on the ground, hog panels laying around and broken lawnmower leaking fluids right beside the pigs. She must be stopped permanently from endangering the health and welfare of animals and humans alike.
She operates under tons of different names, as soon as t his report comes out she will change her name again. She slanders people and makes threats, the County Sheriff and animal control are not involved.

She is now shipping pigs illegally in California, she shipped 8 no papers, too young and within a week 6 were dead! Look up this petition, customers bought from her and the pigs are dead, its in writing. They should be shut down!
