I purchased an Eames rocking chair reproduction from this company on 9/23/09. The email confirmation said I would receive my order in 5-7 days. When it did not arrive, I reached out to the company and they said it had been delayed and would get there within another 5-7 days. Eight days later, still no shipment and no word from company. So I reached out a THIRD time at which point I was told there were delays due to the rain in Georgia (not sure why that matters since company is in NY and I live in CA.) During all these times, I had to call & hold and then leave my number for someone to call me back. Not once did anyone actually call me back. I just got brief, vague emails from someone named Brian in administration. I then insisted on being given a tracking number and Brian promised it to me by Monday. Monday came and went and I never got a call or email. On Tuesday I contacted him again and this time he said my order had not arrived b/c my credit card had declined twice. I was looking at my credit card statement the night before and saw the charge on there ! At this point I was incredulous. First of all - they were LYING !!! Secondly - if it was true, why would this idiot make me wait 2-3 weeks and tell me repeatedly that my order was on the way when according to him it was now an issue of declined credit card. I called AGAIN and spoke to their ONE customer service rep - Irene - who needs to find a new line of work b/c her canned responses were about as helpful as a whole in the head. She told me once again that someone would call me back. I insisted she find someone for me to speak with and she found Deborah who got on the phone and had no idea of my complaint and I had to repeat myself all over again. Of course she then told me that SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK ! I don't even know why I am wasting my time. I should just demand a refund and report them to BBB as well as any and all other business organizations.
