Mona Lisa Restaurant in the Meadows Wouldn't Honor Unexpired Gift Card Sarasota FL
My wife and I went to Mona Lisa's restaurant with a $50 gift card that had no expiration date. When the bill came, they wouldn't honor it. They said it was 14 months old and therefore no good.
We complained to the Better Business Bureau, but they were useless. The restaurant said we didn't have a reservation in the first place and we didn't tell them we had a gift card up front, as if that's reason enough to not honor the gift card.
It's not the money, it's the principle.
The more people that hear about this, the better. Spread the word about this arrogant treatment.
