DO NOT DEAL WITH MONEY WAREHOUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT AND LOSE TONS OF MONEY AND TIME AND THEY TRULY DO NOT CARE- www.moneywarehouse.net

Here are the reasons why and what I experienced and lost:

1) GIVE FALSE GOOD FAITH ESTIMATES- They will give you very false Good faith estimates, which is what Joseph Ruffalo gave me. He called me up on a weekend promising me a almost unbelievable good faith estimate for which I asked him can he deliver this and he very confidently said yes and emailed me the estimate for which later I realize he only did this to talk me into going with their company because earlier I rejected this company because they were requesting me to pay a non-refundable $325.00 before they will process a application and the catch is that 1 day before my closing he sends me a email (not a phone call) saying he is so sorry but the estimate came in higher and then gave me a new estimate with $500 more then what the original estimate was.

2) BAD COMMUNICATION & DOES NOT FOLLOW PROCEDURES WITH CLOSING- He treated my agent really bad and lied to her. She called him up asking about the appraisal and he said he put the order in and my agent did not believe him and she called up the appraisal company and they stated they did not have a order put in and this was a week before my closing that Joseph Ruffalo did not do his job as he was suppose which was a easy standard procedure. It was 4 days before closing that he actually remembered to put in a appraisal order and he even lied to me on the phone stating that the appraisal company was backed up which I knew in the back of my mind was a lie, the truth was is he either forgot or was purposely messing that up.

3) NO CUSTOMER SERVICE -Joseph Ruffalo decides to take off work the day before my closing and did not leave my paper work in anyone's care and I did not close on the day I was suppose to so I had to pay $200 plus at my apartment complex to extend the lease because Joseph Ruffalo claimed they can close the next week which they couldn't because he was still asking me questions that were already answered in the beginning of the mortgage loan process.

4) SHOWS NO CONCERN FOR CUSTOMERS- Joseph Ruffalo returned 2 days later after my closing date that was missed and I was calling all over the office at Warehouse and was given the run around by the receptionist and Branch manager. When anyone is in charge of your info/docs takes off in that office, everything stops and no one knows anything and no one wants to help. They treat you like you're nobody and you're not important and I know that was a fact with me after they got my money. He was real quick about taking my money because I only sent him a copy of my check and they took the money out in that very day.

5) MONEY WAREHOUSE WILL CAUSE YOU TO HAVE TO START OVER - With realizing the lies and mistrust I had for Joseph Ruffalo and Money Warehouse I had to go get another mortgage company and this was more money put out because it was like I was basically starting all over again but the only difference was that the new mortgage company I have now actually cares because they did my appraisal the very next day and my closing is confirmed to take place and this was all done in 7 days for my benefit.

This was my first time purchasing a home and Money Warehouse made it into a Nightmare .

Seriously, AVOID Money Warehouse and Joseph Ruffalo at all cost because it is not just me, they treat anyone that pays that non-refundable fee like they do not matter and I feel I was scammed out of $325 for them to purposely mess up on my closing to watch me get frustrated and start all over with another company so that they can keep my hard earned money.

Companies like this should go out of business and stop lying and cheating customers out of their hard earned money.

I wish I had seen this report before I went on my first interview with this company in late 2006. I went on an interview for their Collins Ave office after speaking on the phone with their secretary/administrative assistant. She was impressed with our screening interview and invited me to come in for a one on one interview with the manager. When I got there, the people in the office were very nice to me. I was actually surprised by how nice and laid back everyone seemed. As I walked in, the secretary at the front desk noticed how nervous I was initially and told me to relax and that "everyone is so nice", and that the manager would be with me in a few minutes, this quickly put me at ease and I took a seat and I waited and waited and waited. I must have waited for about 30 minutes before the manager finally came out, apparently he was in some sort of meeting and that's why he was late interviewing me. Upon talking to him, I found out he was taking over my interview because the manager who was supposed to interview me was out of town "on business". We went into the waiting room for my interview. He told me how great the job was and that "we have 19 year olds, making over $100k/yr" when I asked him what the pay was. He assured me that although I would be starting with a $18k salary, I should be making $10k/month commission from the loans that I close, and that's average. When I tried asking him more questions pertaining to the position, he told me he could not answer them at this time, that I'd have to ask the manager who was supposed to interview me. That should have been a red flag. But I went along with it anyway, because I figured from what he told me, I only need to work there for about 6 months and make enough money to pay my tuition because i'd planned on going back to school the following year anyway. Although the "manager" was dodging my questions and not to mention he was 30 minutes late to my interview, I figured they were at least unorganized, so I decided to come in for the training the following monday. Training was supposed to be 2 wks and was "paid" training (which I got only about $50 for). I showed up everyday early for training and the manager (the one who was supposed to interview me in the first place) was always late. I started realizing how seriously unorganized those people were. Anyway, he told us during the "training" the commitment fee was supposed to go to us as part of our commission, he sounded like he was making this up as he went (we never got anything, unless you count the draw but that we had to pay back). Basically, even if they knew they could not get people the loans, we had to try and get the "commitment" fee anyway. There was another guy with me during the training, he realized that he wasn't gonna make any money...so when we took our lunch break, he never came back. So anyway, training lasted 3 days and I was supposed to be in "boot camp" for the next 2 weeks making cold calls, because basically the leads were just CRAP! While I was there my first week, the manager kept threatening to fire this kid because he couldn't originate any loans from those crappy leads. I was so afraid of being fired, I stayed on that phone for 10 straight hours until I got a customer. To my relief, I got my first customer in less than 1 week. But to make a VERY long story short, I got more customers after that during the course of my 2 months stay, but none of the loans closed. And I found out that my $18k salary was a $245 weekly DRAW for over 45-50 hours of work, and I had to work 2 Saturdays a month, with no overtime. Most of the loan officers working there ended up quitting and those that actually stayed made only $2k in 5 months. When they finally closed a loan, their weekly DRAW had to be substracted from that! YOU DO THE MATH. So they can actually end up owing the company for working there! And not only that, did I mention they were GROSSLY UNORGANIZED? I started to think that the management itself was costing me clients, because he would forego meetings with my clients without telling me and notifying my clients. I had to find out when I was looking for him and I had that client on the phone, and he wasn't even in his office and he wouldn't be back 3 days later because he had to fly out for one of his business meetings. Luckily, that client was calling to reschedule the appointment. At least SHE was decent enough to let him know. I also had to pick up the slacks for the other loan officers that realized this was bullshit and quit! I had to take over their clients and said the L.O that was working on their files got promoted! I had to pick up the slacks for even the managers! And when they couldn't provide the clients with the loans they refused to refund the commitment fee and came up with all types of lies not to refund it. They once asked me to tell a client of mine that she couldn't get a full refund because they "worked" on fixing her credit for her! Which she informed me that it was not true because she did it herself. I felt more like a d**n secretary than a loan officer. After giving her AND me the run around for over a month, they finally refunded her money. I knew this because after I quit, I kept in touch with her to make sure she got her money back from them. See I care about my clients and if it weren't for working for MONEY WAREHOUSE, I would have been a great loan officer but because of them and the whole mortgage mess right now, I decided this thing is not for me, at least not right now. And let's get back to those leads, everyone worked the SAME leads and if a certain manager felt like he wasn't gonna make money on a particularly lead, they would assign it to another loan officer without their knowledge. (You opened your CRM thinking you got fresh leads!). It doesn't matter if the "manager" was already working with that particular client. Then you had to lie and said that so and so was promoted and their file was passed to you now. So UNPROFESSIONAL! Even the loan officers in their other offices had the SAME leads! They went beyond unprofessional and even criminal at times, because once a certain manager (the same one that lied to me during my interview, if you hadn't figured that out by now) had tried to get me to forge one of my clients' signature on a good faith estimate which completely showed different figures from the 1st one he provided her. I honestly believe that MW is one of those predatory lenders who got us into this mortgage mess. They would give loans to people who obviously could not afford a mortgage by doing so many of those No Doc loans, or MTA's, and could even go on as far as altering loan docs just to get some customers approved. I wouldn't put anything past them! Oh, there is so much I can say about Money Warehouse from the short time that I worked there, but this already turned out to be a VERY LOONG thread and I am TIRED!

They would give loans to people who obviously could not afford a mortgage by doing so many of those No Doc loans, or MTA's, and would even go on as far as altering loan docs just to get some customers approved. I wouldn't put anything past them! Oh, there is so much I can say about Money Warehouse from the short time that I worked there, but this already turned out to be a VERY LOONG thread and I am TIRED!

The correct website for this company that I had this bad experience with is moneywarehouse.com. Although that moneywarehouse.net could be connected with them, either way Money Warehouse is a rippoff.
