I was just curious, how much profit margin do you think Monro should make, in your opinion??
Should the shop be like Catholic social services. We can find volunteers to fix your vehicle and maybe a local business that can donate the parts too. My point being that Monro is a FOR profit organization. We are not a wholesale parts outlet. I seldom hear any complaints about the price people pay for services from other skilled laborers, plumbers, electricians,HVAC ect... But am constantly hearing complaints about the price of car repairs. I deserve to be paid well for my knowledge. Most other skilled trades do essentially the same things on a daily basis, with the same specs., codes, procedures ect.. I on the other hand have to deal with different systems and designs on an hourly basis.
If monro is making such a killing maybe you should buy a building, or 700 buildings, all the heavy shop equipment, hire some ASE certified technicians, deal with hazardous waste disposal on top of utilities and tell me what you think your profit margin should be??
