It is now July 7, 2008. The two scooters I ordered from Gordon Whittet at motorcycles-wholesale.com have been sitting in my garage for 4 weeks. I still don't have any paperwork to register or license them. I have corresponded with Mr. Whittet several times every week. He offers nothing but excuses when he bothers to reply at all. I did track him down. He is in New Zealand. His web site is a hoax. I contacted his credit card processing company in New Zealand and did get a email excuse from Gordon the next day. I sincerely hope no one orders from this fraudulent individual. He has had my money for 7 weeks and refuses to provide all the goods promised for this expensive transaction. Any lawyers out there interested in pursuing this matter pro bono?

No doubt you do have your paper work and copies of the sent e-mails. I would send complaint and pea for help to the state department of motor vehicles, and your city probably has a business licencing office that may help. Also Better Business Bureau may be of help. Remember, BBB is not an enforcement agency, but can prod the merchant and get them listed as a problem with the BBB.
