Mr. Tire (Lenoir, NC) I've never been ripped off this bad Lenoir North Carolina
We took our car to Mr. Tire in Lenoir because of my failing brakes. We told them in advance why the brakes were failing and that the issue was a brake hose that got torn loose because of 14" of snow.
They estimated nearly $250. I was fine with that. They called us back saying they couldn't find anything wrong. We again told them that the snow pulled a brake hose loose.
They called us back again saying it was the master cylinder and it needed replaced. I was skeptical but said OK. We were ready to pick the car up when they called us back saying the brake hose got pulled off. Well, imagine that!!
So what should have been a $250 repair ended up costing us nearly $800. When we picked the car up, we explained to them again what the issue was and that they ripped us off by putting in a master cylinder we didn't need.. They simply refused to hear our complaint.
I just hope someone out there benefits from our misfortune.
I'm hesitant to call them crooks but no other term seems to fit. Truly the worst service in my lifetime!
