Complaint Review: MTC TRUCKING - Nationwide

I was told in the beginning that this would be a great place (Ace) to go and learn to be a truck driver. So that could work for USEXPRESS. However things that happened shortly after arrival would prove wrong. It started May 15th sunday after arrival at the hotel only to find out luggage was missing it had incredibly alot of personal belongins such as birth certificate,social security number on a pay stub, along with a tablet, and a money order written to the school for the remaming $50 that would have to pay to get hard copy license.. Amongst this all was new clothes, gloves for training, coat, and food for stay..

Second day the 16th passed DOT physical and drug screen. Transferred license over to a Kentucky one since was to be there for over 30 days for training which now showed to be a resident of Kentucky bearing the address of the hotel. Learned what the school would be doing and the hours of operation..

Third day the 17th started learning to see what it takes to become a truck driver. This was told to be the most crucial day as to you must pay attention to alot of detail as you will be tested on thursday in order to even learn to drive the semi. Hence you dont pass this test you dont step foot in a truck.. Called Bus Stations inquiring about luggage that they still cant find..

Fourth day the 18th watched a video to learn the rules and regulations. Discussion followed after this to see who was paying attention and who wasnt. Studied the pretest booklet that was not to leave the school. Went on to learn about what would be on the test that there was a air brake test, combination, and general knowledge. Had problems with understanding and  asked for help repeatedly and was ignored. Numerous times the word SPIC was said by the one head instructor aka director Frank. The majority of the class was african american and one caucasian. Asked to move to a different room at the hotel so could study due to roommate wanting to play loud music. Called again about missing luggage that still has not been found.

Fifth day the 18th testing day. missed a few questions was told could retake the test again.. Continous remarks and snide comments from Mr. FRANK.. Was told to go back to the hotel and study better. Getting worried MR.FRANK said the luggage was in Cincinnati,Ohio called the Bus Station again and was told that the indication was false. The luggage still has not been found

Sixth day the 19th couldnt study was told there was a study group that helped but wasnt enough still worried about luggage still havent seen it and neither of the bus stations know where it is. Stress.. Failed the test. this is where was told had to leave the school and be out of the hotel by 5pm

wait what how is a person who has no luggage, no money, nothing supposed to get home.

Seventh day the 20th was told that could stay to retest on monday. Treated like was dirt was no longer able to study with classmates as had failed the test. was told to study consistenly. called about luggage it was not found.

Weekend the 21st and 22nd tried to study. asked for help on items not listed or brought up in class was laughed at and told was being dumb that it was easy called about luggage again it wasnt found

Tenth day 23rd tried to test again was told to stop being so F****** stupid that SPICS cant learn nothing new. failed worse then before. Was told they were getting me a ticket home. Later that night was told to find a way home that they werent buying me a ticket that i could go to the school to use the phone to make the needed calls to get a way home.

Eleventh day 24th numerous times heard snide remarks about how some people just cant learn. Consistent calling by family to various people and places as to where stranded at helped keep the confidence that would keep up the hopes of getting home.

Mr. Frank heard the news of the ticket and told the staff that they were not to give a ride which is on 20 mins to the bus station to those who are no longer students. Doing so would cost them their job. It is a 3 hour and 48 min walk to the bus stop from the school which is located at 210 steel drive,Elizabethtown,Ky 42701 

The bus stop which is near a farmstore is located at 711 east dixie in Elizabethtown Ky and had to request again a ride from Mr. FRANK who this time picked up and dropped off at the bus stop. The bus didnt arrive until well past 1040 pm. Was so glad to be away the trauma caused by the intensity of the people at the school who like to ridicule someone over race and such. its wrong the way they treat people at Ace. Will never go back
