Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I bought a truck from Murdock of logan from Eric Budd. We agreed on a few things like most people do before buying a car. However the things that we agreed on were not done with the truck. I understand people make mistakes. So when i went back to get confront him and the store manager Cort Murdock to give them a second chance to make everything right, i was very dissapointed in their quality of service. First, Cort would not honor the agreement that Eric and i had. Eric told Cort of the agreement we had but Cort said it did not matter. When i went back, Eric would not say anything because Cort told him to keep his mouth shut. Cort said there is no agreement because it was not in writting. It didnt even matter matter that his salesman said anything. Every visit i had with Cort, he just kept making up lies and excuses. Cort Murdock is a liar and not a man of his word! During two of these visits i took in a tape recorder to record what was being said because Cort kept freaking out and kept swearing. Now that isnt very good customer service for a store manager. I think the only reason Cort is even a Manager is because it is a family business and he could not make it anywhere else. I have the recordings of Cort freaking out on youtube. Buying a car from Murdocks was a huge regret! I finally told Cort that i was going to go talk to a attorney. He freaked out again. He said if i took him to court i would never win because he has alot more money than i do to spend. They did not live up to any of their mottos or promises. I would never recomend them to anyone. So the thousands of people that will read this, please keep in mind what happened to me and help stop these kind of people like Cort Murdock and businesses like Murdocks out of business by not letting them jerk you around.

Mike eby, the source is a customer that was not treated fairly. He agreed with eric that he would buy the truck if murdock would fix the repair on the truck. Murdock never fixed it and didnt keep the part of the deal. Yes it was not in writing but multiple people knew about it and cort still would not honor it. But what can you expect from cort murdock, he would tell us to tell customers lies like if someone was looking at a car we would have to say to them that someone else is looking at it and but there check bounced and they will be back in a couple of days. He would have us say things to make people panic and buy out of fear of losing a good deal. Yes we sell alot of cars but that does not mean it is honest. Just look where that got Cort, he is not the GM of Murdock anymore. Ex employee of Murdock of Logan

I work for Murdock of Logan as a sales person and have for some time. I was there the day, this customer came in and demanded that his vehicle be fixed or else! (Or else what?) The customer was angry and started raising his voice. It made it very uneasy and uncomfortable for everyone in the store. I want everyone who read the complaint to consider three things. Then you can judge for yourself and believe what you want. 1) This customer purchased a high mileage vehicle without a warranty. He knew the risks he was taking...... We try to stand behind every vehicle sold and usually go over and beyond the call of duty, but this man would not accept anything but what was unreasonable! 2) We sell THOUSANDS of cars a year, and have been doing so for many years. We didn't get to where we are by treating people poorly but by taking care of their needs. And... 3) Cort Murdock is the epitome of integrity and honesty. I have worked with him and seen him deal with customers who were less than happy about their purchase. He is fair and an excellent employer. If there were promises made to the customer from Cort, he would have honored them. What probably happened, is there may have been some promises made between the salesman and the customer. Promises that were not discussed with Cort before the deal was signed. Please consider the source of this complaint before making a judgement against Cort Murdock or the Murdock Motor Group.
