I was charged 49.80 a month from July until March for nothing. I do not recall signing up to give 49.80 a month from my credit card to anyone. In fact, I would never do that.
I should have paid closer attention to my credit card bills and caught this sooner. However, this is still fraud and I was robbed... again. Yes, it has happened to me many times before, and due to the convenience of paying my credit card online automatically and not receiving a paper statement, I have opened my purse to yet another ripoff.
Why are recurring charges allowed on credit cards? They should have to call and confirm such ridiculous orders with the card holder.
