My Diet Patches ripoff - company offered free diet patch to try. nowhere was there info that stated in 30 days my bank account would be charge $169.95 causing other checks to bounce Internet
Offer to try free of charge the diet patch. I did not see any fine print stating that after 30 days your credit cared would be charged for a 3 month supply in the amount of $169.95.
When I contacted them regarding why they took the money they explained somewhere obscured to the consumer they state that if they don't here from you within 30 days they will send you a order for months. I asked them why wasn't this information printed right where the free offer was made and why didn't they at least warn us by email that the 30 free period was elapsing and if we didn't want our credit card charged they needed to hear from us. I didn't know until my checks started bouncing. This procedure is not only fradulent but very deceptive. Also I incurred bank fees due to their deceptive practive.
I took them over two weeks after they debited my credit card to send the product. I refused it over 45 days ago and as of this writing my credit card has not been credited and I can't get them on the phone.
