My Profit Investment Sold me a "Google Business Kit" for $1.95... never received it, then they later debited $81.32 from my bank account. Internet *NOTICE..!! this ripoff has nothing to do with Google search engine - many rip-off businesses use the Google name to fool consumers.
I responded to an internet offer (http://www.marylifeblog.com/us.php?sub=vccpafddR) and paid $1.95 -- which somehow became $2.06 -- for a "Google Biz Kit" (http://rs925.cashsecretclub.com/? subid=249143944&pubid=450202) which I never received. The IP address that took my credit card info is https://ssl.encryptedprocessing.com/~stores/store/ secure/189/
Being stupid, I did a little research AFTER paying the $1.95, and discovered that it is a complete scam. I never even received the promised email, and I "cancelled" by using their contact us form buried deep in the web site.
Now, it is one week later, and I have a a "pending" $81.32 charge on my online bank account statement. It is Sunday, but I will go to the bank first thing in the morning to try to stop it.
The original site, Mary's Money Blog, is not the same thing that this is a response to, but the same name, My Profit Investment, showed up on the bank statement.
