EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

Please be patient, we can only tell you what they are telling us.

Consumers Report:

The end of December of 2003 I received a phone call offering me a Visa or Mastercard with a $2,000.00 limit with a $299.00 one time fee. Dumb to take but I did and then was sent a package with a benefits for something I didn't want or need.

Called the 800 number given at my first call and was told that I would receive a letter with something to sign to get my credit card on its way in a week or so. They said the package was sent by them and was what the two hundred and ninety-nine dollars was for. The package of things to help correct my credit or travel packages from a company.

I was told that I would be getting a visa card with a $2,000.00 limit and should have to sign for it. Instead I received the Trust Benefits package left on my door by a Fedex driver without a knock.

I waited for a half hour to talk with someone about this package and then was told that after receiving this package that I should receive a letter saying your approved on the outside within a week or so. Never happened. I've been waiting for 3 weeks for that and now I get no answer at the number I was given for customer service.

All I want is the 299.00 back that gave under false pretenses of getting a visa credit card that I have never received.
