Complaint Review: MyPartnerforever - Internet

Unfortunately I am the victum of a website dating and marriage scam. Completely caught me by surprise. I decided to use a foreign lady website to try my luck at finding my lifetime partner. I tried several. None of them seemed real, and all they did was take my money and I was writing to what I thought was a real woman from another Country. In this case, The Ukraine. The moneys charged were for translation and editing fees. Of course. The best one I found was a website called www.mypartnerforever.com  It seemed OK at first. I found a lady that I liked and began a relationship with her on the internet. I wrote her for over four Months. Then we agreed to having a meeting face to face. Her pictures were professional as even I could see that. But I took a chance anyway. I went to the website, filled out my Hotel, meeting, and travel from Kiev to Zhytomir fees. Then I had to arrange a flight. All seemed fair enough, and easy.

I flew to Kiev airport. Then I was picked up by the agency and driven by car to Zhytomir. About a three hour trip. I arrived late afternoon, and was told I could meet the lady the next day, at her convenience.The next day we met. Late in the afternoon which I found a little strange, because in our letters, we were supposed to spend the day together. I had to contact a translator. She picked me up at my apartment ( Not Hotel in The Ukraine - Not Recommended ).

She took me to a local restaurant. Not fancy, but not cheap either. The lady showed up late, and I tried to give her a hug, but only recieved a hand shake. A red flag went off. Because according to the many letters I wrote her, she liked hugs and kisses. Never happened. From the begining I realized something was very wrong. I asked the translator many questions told her many things. She conveyed to the lady everything I said. But the lady showed no interest in anything I said or asked. I asked the translator what was wrong. I knew something was up. The translator said the lady had a headache and didnt feel well. We ate some food, and continued. Then I realized the lady was not loking at me, or she refused to sit next to me.The usual respectful things to do. Nothing happened. At that point I told the translator to ask the lady that if she didnt feel well that maybe she should go home. And we could meet the next day. The lady left immediately. Not saying a word.

The next day. I was contacted by the translator and was told the lady could not see me that day for she was too busy at her job.  At that point I realized the lady that they introduced to me, had to be working for the website as a decoy, or a lady to attract men to the website. Then meet with them, and then disappear. It was the only thing that made sense. Later I found out, I was right. I was scammed. I only met the lady for one and a half hours, and I spent over $4000 usd to go to her city and meet her. Bad Luck ? coincidence ? Just plain rejected ? No I don't think so. There were too many letters I wrote to her, that explained everything. I even told her I would not come there if she were to reject me. She wrote back and said "It dosn't matter what I looked like, as long as I treated her good" That was in her letter. The other excuses were, I didn't bring her flowers and gifts. At which the first meeting is just a meeting. Not a date. If she would have met me the next day Flowers and chocolate were on the menu. But it never happened. Also I left early due to the bad experience. I was not reimbursed for the extra days I was to stay at the apartment. Which was $213 usd. Anyway I have proof other than this letter, and I have all the letters I wrote to her. I have other facts and evidence of a scam, and fraud. But I will not disclose it here on this complaint report. Anyone that desires to go overseas and meet a foreign lady thats fine, but I suggest you do not use www.mypartnerforever.com. Also the other real bad one is www.foreignladies.com   Don't waste your time and money. You will be disappointed and ripped off. If you read all the material given in the mypartnerforever website, they give you a lot of scam reports on women, and how it is not tolerated, etc. and they were a legitimate website, and real and all those lies, and fraud. However, the lip service they give you is very convincing, and you will be caught up in a world of beautiful, wonderful, women that will take your breath away. And your wallet. DO NOT USE  WWW.MYPARTNERFOREVER.COM!! You will be sorry.
