I have to agree - Kissimmee Napleton made me walk out the door, Thank God I didn't buy. At the time when I entered their establishment, I did not know that one of my co-workers had been in the week before and also walked out. First, the location leaves alot to be desired. It's in a major, major traffic area and a complete nightmare to do a test drive during rush hour. POOR CHOICE for location. Second, they will lie through their teeth to get you through the door. My husband told the sales guy what car we were looking at and that we were not going to pay more than X dollars out the door and that if they couldn't do it, to just tell us and we'd leave. We emphasized what our limit was and not to waste our time. Well, he goes to the sales manager who replies "sure, we can do that, get them in for a test drive"......He came back with that and again we emphasized that we weren't going to test drive anything unless they were 100% willing to meet the price we asked for if we liked this particular car. "OH YES OH YES" , THEY REPLIED. They INSISTED it could be met. So we headed off into the traffic from hell, got back, sales manager comes out and says he can't do it, need $3,000 more. Now, of course, they knew this from the GET GO. Thanks for wasting our time! Then they try put us in a used one. Started up one car, it was shaking all over the place, running rough. WE LEFT and went to FAIRWAY near the St. Cloud Turnpike and bought an 2005 DODGE 1500 HEMI. OH AND so did my coworker! Fairway's service is far superior. Laid back, NO BS or cocky salesmen. Maybe Napelton should pay Fairway a visit and take a few lessons from them

My dad bought my 2005 Focus from Napleton's Northwestern Ford. The general manager (who has known me since I was 14) did everything wrong, to the point where my father almost walked out of the dealership. Well, my dad got the car there, and I can tell you that the dealership is not worthy of the Napleton name. The service department couldn't diagnose an a/c problem (being a cardiac patient I NEED a/c in the summer) until the second time I brought it in, and it took another dealership to diagnose another problem. So you see, Napleton's dealerships are going downhill rapidly. Maybe someone should try contacting Mr. Napleton himself, and tell him what goes on in his dealerships. BTW...my dad did get a comment card from Ford about his experience at the dealership. The general manager himself (the one who has known me since I was 14) approached me two weeks later and told me that 'what your dad wrote really hurt my line.'

True, many dealers do have a "administrative fee"..."dealer fee"..."processing charge", or whatever they want to call it. But remember, every aspect of a deal is negotiable. If they say "the $499 fee is non-removable", then say "fine...just subtract $499 off the price of the car then". If they refuse, then there are plenty of other dealers that would be glad to work with you instead. For what it's worth...I probably wouldn't argue too much over a $49 or $99 processing fee, especially if the deal was dealer invoice or slightly higher. I'm not going to bust a car deal over a $99 charge. But anything more than that, and they'll have to either remove the fee, or take it off the price of the new vehicle.
