Upon taking my car in for a simple intermittent stalling problem, these know nothing jack asses had it for a total of 2 days.

They first told me they think they know what the problem would be and they would call me the next day. Well, the next day came and 5 minutes before they closed, "I HAD TO CALL THEM". When I did, I was informed that they need to run a few more test's and they would call me the next day. Well needless to say, I never heard from them again so about an hour before they closed I called and was told that they could "NOT" find anything wrong with the car, outside of a bad converter, which later proved to be a blatant LIE!

.....About a half hour later I went to pick up the car then out come's this pathetic sorry excuse for a mechanic and tells me that I have a bad engine. At first I thought this was some kind of sick joke. I asked for the keys and he told me they were in the car at the restauraunt parking lot next door....."IN SOMEONE ELSES PARKING LOT WITH THE KEYS IN IT OPEN TO THEFT NO LESS". First they killed my battery cause it wouldnt start, then when the moron jumped it and it knocked so bad I thought the engine was going to fall out of the dam thing. Imagine my anger at this point after being told LESS than an hour before that they could not find anything wrong with it!!!

I asked the idiot what the hell happened and without looking me in the eye, told me that they went to move it and it just started knocking "all of a sudden".....WELL DUHHHHH!! WHAT A LIE!!!!....

I left then came back with my cousin who happens to know quite a bit about cars. When my cousin asked what kind of tests they did to it, the moron couldnt answer it. He just said they ran diagnostics on it. At this point my cousin had to literally hold me back from beating his sorry a*s. Then this sick b*****d tried to charge me $45 for the "DIAGNOSTIC FEE" which of course I told him what he could do with it.

I had the car towed to a reputable mechanic who put another engine in it for the sum of $2000 bucks. He also told me there was nothing wrong with the converter that National Auto Service tried to sell me.

I would NOT trust these rip off con artists with even somethng simple as washing my car, let alone having them stick their theiving hands under the hood. I will bad mouth them to anybody and everybody who will listen until they are out of business or I am dead, whichever comes first!

You must be because I can see that you are about as stupid and ignorant as he is. For your information you dumb a*s, if you scroll up and try re-reading, if you possibly can, what I said was that I bought the car new and it had 57,000 miles on it at the time I took it to that inept so called mechanic. Can you grasp that ? or do I have to go S - l - o - w - e - r and dumb it down for you. Just curious, did you make it past the 6th grade?

Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention the car in question is a 1992 Buick Regal that I bought new with the 3800 series V-6 with only 57,000 actual miles on it. Regular oil changes and maintenance was done. The dependability of these engines have already been proven time and time again. Now these motors just don't blow suddenly. In fact I have seen them with as much as 280,000 miles on them. So if any of you so called mechanics want to make it sound as if it was my fault then you are not much of a mechanic!

How DARE you call ME, "THE VICTIM", Trailer trash. YOU have no clue what the hell you are talking about. What makes you think I or anybody else would pay a fee for DESTROYING MY ENGINE!!! The other shop I took the car to even told me that they most likely "red lined" (revving it so hard and long) the old motor trying to duplicate the stalling problem, thus blowing the motor. I have already contacted an attorney on this matter and he said I have a strong case being that I have a witness to this. NO, there is no more to this story than I have already stated, and I won't repeat myself again. If you cant read and comprehend then that is YOUR PROBLEM. Yes they tried to get me for a power booster on my other car after I had a master cylinder installed 2 weeks before all this happened and there is absoultely nothing wrong with the old one. But I gave them the benifit of the doubt and took my other car to them anyway. As far as this shop staying opened is concerned, they have been in business almost 1 year now and I have noticed that they went from being a booming business to having almost NO business. Sounds like the true trailer trash here is YOU and the other idiot that responded.

Steven, based on how you respond to things, you must be trailer trash. I'm with Steve from Ohio, if you would have brought it into my shop and not paid the fees you agreed to you still wouldn't have your car. And, as a matter of fact, I would have already filed the papers for a mechanics lein and sold it! I for one think there is MUCH more to this story then we are hearing. A shop doesn't stay open like that. Most shops when they screw you will screw you with small items like fuel pumps or distributers, things that the consumer would have absolutely no idea about, they won't destroy an entire engine.

1. intermittent driveability problems are the hardest problems to solve >>>Yes, this is WHY I took the car to him. He said, (if you can read!) that he thinks he knows what the problem was, and that it was most likely the map sensor.<<< 2. If the problem was so easy to find why didn't you figure out the problem yourself >>>Well DUH!!!!!! because I am not a mechanic you idiot!<<< 3. you agreed to pay a diagnostic fee when you dropped the car off so they should have held your car until payed it. >>>OK Einstein, yeah right. I am going to pay them for destroying my engine. WOW!<<< 4. They say it needed a motor and after replacing it the car was fixed and since they probably replaced the long block all sensors, fuel system and ignition system components were from the old motor they're diag was correct >>>Once a gain, YOU ARE WRONG. The other shop I took it to replaced the entire engine, sensors and all. Why don't you go back and re-read, obviously you have a problem comprehending what I said. They told me there was NOTHING WRONG with my car and an hour later I have a bad engine????<<< 5. if you came into my shop and acted like you have described I don't think I would care if your car got fixed or not. >>>I WOULD NOT come to someone like you. You seem to advocate rip off, con artists. C-mon, how would you epect me to be, happy? they cost me over $2000 bucks! I took the car in and everything was fine, quite running motor, good oil pressure and a good battery, just an occasional stalling problem. I called them and they said there was nothing wrong with my car and an hour later it sounds like it's going to fall out of the car?<<< You're real brilliant arent you!
