Idiots, unable to do simple financial calculations/ procedures  Beware if you are applying for a mortgage or any other loan through this bank. The people in the mortgage department are absolute idiots in my opinion. Im a CPA and these guys in my opinion are not qualified to loan money to a lemonade stand.

I worked with an individual named Bryan Harnett and his "underwriting team", he is supposedly a Viec President of Real Estate Lending. Im wondering if he, or any of his underwriting team, even graduated from high school. Im wonder just what qualifications one has to have to work at this bank, probably few if any.

They could not do the simplest of financial calculations or understand the most basic of financial procedures. I was applying for just a Pre-qualification letter that is required to make an offer on a home in Arizona. After waiting more than 25 days and answering numerous "stupid questions" such as "why I have a certain title on my work email" I decided enough is enough and went somewhere else. The amount I was seeking to get pre-qualified for was less than 20% of my pre-tax income and my wife and I are basically debt free.

Our only debt is $16K in student loans at 2% interest with a monthly payment of $150 ( with cheap interest like that I am not paying them off early because the inflation rate is more than that amount so the money gets cheaper every year). So Im not sure why in the hell their was a problem other than their basic idiots. If you have a banking relationship with this bank I would go elsewhere soon, as you will probably get caught up in their inept ability sooner or later.

Oh yes, I went to another mortgage lender and had the pre-qualification letter within 72 hours.  Let me repeat, In my opinion Nation Bank of Arizona are idiots and incompetent, beware of doing any financial transactions with them at all.
