National Blind and Wallpaper has terrible customer service and I will never order from them again. First, they conveniently have an 800 number when placing your order, but if you have a problem with an order BEWARE because you have to call a separate (toll) number where you will sit on hold for forever. I have had problems with them on 2 separate occasions. This last time involved a problem with cordless cellular shades which did not raise and lower reliably. The manufacturer is Levolour (boycott Levolour also). I have sent the cordless shades back on many occasions for repairs. The last time I unpacked the supposedly repaired blind and guess what, it still didn't work, right out of the box! National Blind credited me for the one defective blind, but this is on a coordinating bay window which has a total of 3 of the same blind. When I called them, the customer service rep. stated that it probably wouldn't be a problem to have the others credited as well, but then lo and behold I get a fax from them stating they won't credit the other 2. (I have had problems with all 3 blinds, but they insist that they will only credit the one.)
National Blind and Wallpapers customer service reps (and I use that term lightly) simply give you the party line and pass the buck by stating that "the manufacturer" this or that and then you have no one who is culpible.
Well, my last approach is to dispute the charge with my credit card company. But, I will NEVER order another thing from these jokers!
