I paid $899.00 for a membership and six months of counseling service and technical help and now the web-site that was promised is not active, and the telephone number gives a constant busy signal.

I would like to get a refund for the membership and services that were not deliverd.

Frank, stick it in your ear...You, too, Peter the Profiter! Victims contact the FTC and AGs.

I guess Frank works for this scam NGC outfit since he knows who are ex-employees and who are not.

Memeberships in the BBB are bought and payed for...not EARNED. The only thing necesary to stay in good standing with the BBB is to send them a letter saying you are working on a resolution. They never check to see if it goes any further. They just want to bill you for a membership again next year. Youre stupid for paying them, unless you need their protection.

And that Congessman on your TV infomercials, get out of here. The state of Florida is a hotbed of scams of all kinds. The right Honorable Frey would have served better by shoveling some of the crap out of his state whil he had the chance. Is he the front-man for giving this joke company some standing? How much does Frey get payed for this job per year?

What is with this Peter lawyerman who has posted this same stupid letter under a bunch of these posts? Hey, Pete, are you billing for one letter written that you have pasted all over or do you bill for each paste job? Let's get a look into your character while we are at it.

How come all I see going on here are threats? How come these compalints are not being taken care of? My Aunt Fannie was scammed by you assholes and she can't get no satisfaction, either! Guess you'd rather keep the money and pay out twice as much to Peter to write dumbass letters, huh?

This site is for consumers, not lawyers. Lawyers are not impartial any more than the BBB is. Lawyers are bought and payed for too. I hate seeing lawyers posting the same old letters all over the place while not fixing anything.

Vicitms need to contact the FTC. Contact the Florida AG and the AGs in their own states. Lets get some real law enforcement on this and some real lawyers.

That is what Aunt Fannie is doing and the results are looking good. Especialy at the FTC.

National Grants Conferences (NGC) has been providing valuable services to the public for over 6 years. To the best of our knowledge any customer who has had problems or concerns with NGC has been accommodated. Our membership in the Better Business Bureau attests to our commitment to customer service.

The postings that appear on this site are untrue and, in many instances, malicious and misleading. This site itself, in our opinion, encourages only negative postings regardless of truth or motivation. We post this rebuttal not to give this site credibility, but to state our position that the postings are untrue and defamatory.

Curiously, ripoffreport itself offers its own products for sale on this site and insulates itself by having a headquarters in an off-shore location.

Numerous statements made on this site regarding many large and well respected companies (other than NGC) are outrageous. As a matter of fact, if these statements were made in another forum, they would subject the writer and the publisher to substantial liability. It remains an open question whether this site's publication of false, misleading and harmful assertions is supportable under US law. Certainly individuals who make false postings are liable for their statements.

There are scams in the marketplace. NGC has itself been faced with a company that used a name that violated our trademark right and calls itself National Grants, LLC. That entity, based in New Orleans has been closed by the Federal Trade Commission. NGC has brought suit against that company in Federal District Court for trademark infringement.

We encourage consumers to make informed decisions based upon accurate and impartial information. Ripoffreport is not such a source.

This posting is false, malicious and actionable at law.

There is no ex-employee named Henry and defaming the Better Business Bureau and a retired Congressman goes beyond the bounds that a site like this should allow.

National Grants Conferences is a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau. It earned its membership as a result of a commitment to customer satisfaction and abiding by the rules of the BBB

Attended the seminar, I want to thank all of you for giving me the heads-up on the business scam

I attended the seminar you are all speaking about on Tuesday of this week in Wilmington, Delaware. I was very impressed with the gentlemen who gave the presentation. He was a good salesmen: However before he even started the presentation, I reveiwed the information booklet and at the bottom of the page,in very small print it stated that NGC was not a non-porfit organaziation. I knew a price would be coming, I knew not to sign up until I went home and checked the company out.

I want to thank all of you for giving me the heads-up on the business scam. I don't have the money to waste on a no return program. I knew it was too good to be true. I will tell you that I work for a school district and grants are out there for the taking, but you have a mountain of paperwork to do. Researching the grants will become a job. I will spend several hours a week to find the right ones for me.

I would like to suggest that anyone who has gone through the paperwork start a newsletter keeping us up to date on the yes and no's of writing a grant. I think our district help a seminor on how to fill out grant paperwork. I will check into this later this week and see if I can give you any helpful information.

united we stand ..profit off of Americans through deception and manipulation have made themselves the enemy!

Not going to a meeting is not the answer, remember your fellow Americans are being robbed of thier hope, thier livelyhood and thier future one ripp-off at a time!

My friend, the only way to deal with crooked organizations, companies and corporations is to unite with as many others as possible and confront those responsible.

Simply put, find others who have been ripped off by the same group, I recommend 20 or so, then go to the next conference, when everyone is seated then stand up in unison tell those present the truth about the organization and then run the culprats out and down the street!!!

Humilliate them in public!!! Make sure thier coruption is known to all!!! Put Pictures on the internet with details etc... I recommend two or three people with digital cameras should do the trick.

Think on this, Anyone or any organization that would attempt to make a profit off of Americans through deception and manipulation have made themselves the enemy!

Noone is free if you can not build a good life for yourselves and your family because you, your friends and your fellow Americans are constantly being ripped-off!

Remember united we stand devided we fall,.. it is the greatest truth America has ever known.

PS. Please do me a favor and spread the word thank you,

Sincerely,

National Grants Conferences Alert--Scammers are back in the S.C.area--DO NOT GO!!!

#10Consumer Suggestion

Tue, March 04, 2003

I'm sorry that you have been scammed. I too have gone to one of these NGC, way back in April of 2002, but couldn't afford the program and so did not get anything for that. I stayed for the second half of their program and got scammed into getting my own website via ePenzio (another scam and another story). I have been reading about NGC on other sites and the only thing that I could tell you to do is to file with the atty. generals office as well as the consumer protection agency. My post is to alert others within the SC area as to this--DO NOT GO to this meeting as both programs are scams and you have been warned. The dates are March 8-10 in the Greenville area.
