These people are bad!

They aquired this land in the most underhanded and devious way.

They "donated" (bribed) county officials for 75k. For that the county is going to pave this road (on the cheap) and keep silent to the people of the school district until it was to late.

They blasted into the neighborhood unannounced and tore it all to hell.

They are marketing as if it is a Cleburne neighborhood, Cleburne is 20 miles away and in a different county. Those flyers are fairytails. This property is in the Blum ISD. Very small. No money.

These lots have no utilities. The average cost to dig a well in Hill County is 50k. Septic 10k. Lots of rocks, and they move, they tear things up. Its very expensive to build. But they wont tell you that.

BUYERS BEWARE! These people are lyers and scammers!

SMALL TEXAS TOWNS BEWARE! They change their name to fit in with the locals, because they kow we wont sell to them.

When they came here they called themselves the Bobcat Contracting Co, Bobcats is our high school mascot. Very devious!

My grandmother would call them YANKEE CARPET BAGGERS!! STAY AWAY!

Hello folks, I am the Hill County Commissier for Precinct 1 where all this is happening. First of all, it has been a blessing to our precinct that Bobcat Ridge bought and developed this area. They took raw land that wasnt fit for much of anything, built nice roads, entrances and cleaned up the area to the point that folks from all over are, and have been, buying the land to further develope it into beautiful larger home tracks. 2nd, this was not a slid in job over night, this took months of research, months of planning and months of paperwork and months work to become compliant with the county subdivision rules and regulations, and it's ALL been in the newspapers, and even on radio stations, not to mention every court agenda we have had.

NOW lets talk about this $75,000.00 (bribe) that the person mentioned in the post..........  I am responsible for 300 roads in our precinct, My yearly budge is about 420,000.00, I have 5 full times guys that I work alongside of everyday that work their butts off to try and take care of all those roads. Just so you all understand cost, to gravel 4500 feet of road cost over $25,000.00, we have almost 300 miles of road, there is 5280 feet in a mile so it would cost out precinct over 3,000,000.00 (3 million) a year to gravel our road, thats 3 times more money than we have.

The Bobcat Ridge folk were completely finished with everything they needed to do to meet the county rules and regulations, they didnt have to even speak to the folks in our precinct again if thats what they chose to do, BUT they came to me and asked what it would take to pave those roads in that area, after explaining my above mentioned budget they fully understood why we could not pave roads in our precinct.

A few days later I received a call from the Bobcat Ridge folks who what to talk to me about making an allocated donation to those roads in the area where they were developing. They expressed concern about the construction traffic in the area and the inconvenience it may be causing for the people who live on those roads. After a brief conversation about this they inquired about the proper channels they needed to navigate to make a $75,000.00 to Precinct 1 to be used for the paving of the county roads around the deveplment, I almost fell out of chair !!!!

in 2015 and 2016 we had two floods back to back, our county roads were washed away, especially the roads around the development, they havent been in any kinda shape in a few years so the thought of getting them paved would sure reward the people in that area who have been trying to drive on roads that were not passable when it rained unless you had 4 wheel drive.

There has only been (1) person throughout his WHOLE process that has complained and judging from the lauguage in the post, it's the same lady.

I know that some people will never be happy no matter what happens, and I truly feel sorry for them, some folks are just angry folks, but nevertheless, I hope you do get some enjoyment from the paved roads, you and everyone deserve them.

and now you knowthe real story, good day
