National Moving, AY Transportation, Anthony Lucas, Walter ripoff, scammed senior citizens on phone, internet and fraudulent papers and foreign speaking men San Jose Miami California Florida
We are seniors on a limited budget so we have to look around for the best prices and services. We needed to move back to Oregon to be near our children.
We checked U-Haul and thought the price was reasonable. The next day the price went up 65% so we thought the price for services to National Moving would be better for us.
BUT we fell into the same trap that others have by hiring National Moving. The AY Transportation truck was sent with two foreign speaking men that we had a hard time understanding and they apparently could not understand us any better or pretended not to.
We had everything packed and ready to load.They were slow workers and were very rough and careless with our possessions. When we said for them to be careful, they just laughed and said "everything ok". They used our bathroom 3 or 4 times, leaving a mess !
Everything became a nightmare, with harrassment all across the country, from NY to OR. They even called our children and almost demanded payment from them for almost 3 times the quoted price. That was after we had already paid National Moving $500.
The original weight allowance was not given to us and they even added 3000 pounds onto the estimate. They held our goods as hostage to get paid in cash before they would even let us see our belongings. My husband gave them $3000 in cash and demanded to see our things and then pay them the rest of the extortion and they still refused, saying they would take the money, our goods and leave!! We had to pay them $5156.13 for a shipment that was quoted by Anthony Lucas and Walter to be $2760.13
There are more things including the very rude customer service ?? from the people from the home company of AY Transportation, Michelle and Alana. They all spoke with foreign accents. Who are these people that are in this country scamming Americans? Are they not satisfied with all the things foreigners get from the government of this country and have to get more money for there pockets?? What do they do with the money? Does it go oversees or to some illicit terrorist activity here or abroad?
