feel is discriminating against you? This is a free country and you have the right to shop somewhere else. I felt I was being taken advantage of by a certain group of people in London. It's much easier to shop somewhere else than to take it so seriously. Shop elsewhere and enjoy the ambiance.

This store does discriminate against whites and the Hatian or Indian people and other races that work there are completly racist, they act like they dont understand what your saying and they got those big fake grins on there faces....this store is a total rip off and terrible service...the employee's are totally fake ignorant!!! I work for a large highend retail corporation...so I know about customer service and how you treat the customers who's spending there hard earned money in your store...and they dont have a clue, although they dont treat the coloreds this way..so let them spend there dirty money there.

Harold Watch Yourself.. Why must ignorant people flock to message boards? I really want to know! Can't you just huddle in a corner somewhere clutching on to your rifle, peeking out a window from behind the curtain and let your paranoia be a burden to only yourself!? Why must you come and feed on someone's anger to try and warp their mind as well. I don't think the store in question has a conspiracy against white people. I think it's much more accurately that the people who squeaked by were either friends or regulars. Whereas when the person who felt discriminated against approached the register they could have thought you were sent to make sure they were abiding by the laws. For example, teenagers are hired to go to stores that sell M rated games and R rated movies to make sure their cashier is ID'ing. If not the store faces a $5,000 fine. When I worked at Ace Hardware a young kid was sent in to buy spray paint and when they weren't ID'd, Ace got fined. That's probably what they were worried about. And that's why they denied ever selling the clothes to begin with! And for Harold, stop being so closeminded, maybe you'll learn something!

Anne from Calgary- yes, there are no such laws over there. Alberta's a nice place. Far from the problems we Americans face so your views are a bit one-sided (I lived in Calgary (nice scenic place full of friendly folks) for 10 years but my job and relatives are in New York). But this is New Jersey where they still have Blue Laws (also common in upstate NY) which prohibit sales of certain items on Sundays. Depending on store employees, they can chose to sell those items on Sundays or "look the other way." That's not uncommon.

You probably bought the wrong kind of items... I'm not sure what 'blue laws' here as there are no laws forbidding the sale of items on certain days in Canada, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess what those people bought were not considered 'clothing items' for whatever reason.
As for the second person... Well, you need a life.
