First off, all these questions before I got to this point about where the company lives, what their email is, what the
phone number is I dont know. Its Neosmart Technologies. They have this what seems like a great free program
called EasyBCD that allows you to make multiple boot partitions, rename them, and even create a nice boot menu.
I thought this was all great until I had to reinstall a Windows XP version on a disk partition. When I did I get an
error called: "windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \system32\ntoskrnl.exe. Please re-install a copy of the above file."
I've tried now for over a week to resolve this error. I've gone on line nobodys solution works. They all say there
is a program that will fix this and its called "Easy Recovery Essentials". After finally deciding to look into getting
this program I discover that its made by Neosmart Technologies, but its NOT free. They want $50 bucks to download
the program and fix the error. It dawned on me that this must be a scam. EasyBCD (a free program) screws up
your bootloader then the damned company that makes it want you to buy a program to fix what it messed up.
I've seen viruses that do this exact same thing. This company I believe is hijacking peoples computers. I'm going
to see what the better business bureau can do. Really got to be careful with free software these days. There is
no way I'm going to pay these bastards for a program to fix what they messed up.
