Neri Brothers Broadway Volkswagen Ripoff deceptive practice to win my bussiness Oakland California
I signed a purchased contract from Broadway Volkswagen. Trusting the owner Mr Neri, Ephraim's word I'v not read the number on the contract. I drove the the car home. When I'v seen that the sale price on the contract different than that we have agreed about in our negotiation of sale price. I went back but for them it was a close deal because I have already signed the contract.
Because the Law does not protect the (innocent) fool , I feel very bad and helpless. I ask you to advice me and to prevent continuation these kind of practices. Here how the negotition went about. I asked him for the lowest price he can offer. He showed me his inside invoice and print out of the prices ($17080) on the internet saying he will beat any price I get from the other dealers in the area. I went to two more dealers where I got a price of ($16,382) I called him about it and he agreed to finish the deal and beat the price.
the next day I got there sat with the salesperson while Mr Ephraim was writing the number on draft paper which he showed to me to make sure that he using the right number. then I got with the finance person where he showed me where to print my name and signature on the contract I didn't pay attention to the sale price on the top line ($17170).
Instead the price he should beat $16382. He added on the contract's sale price the distination fee and taxes and some other fees which sumed up to $18823.80 which shoud be less of at least $800.
