My name is Karen Aiello but I go by Karen Perkins now Aiello was a married name and that is what my benefits come in.. I had opened an account with Netspend Corp which is a pre paid card service .for my social security checks  in 2008 since then my experience has been good with them until this past couple of years . the reps are rude and don't answer the questions that they are asked . doesn't know what they are talking about and gives wrong  just this past year alone started in October 2013 my card was used without my permission I was getting text after text around 4:30 am on the day that my direct deposit was posted information out. the service which they say they have the top notch fraud dept don't even watch the accounts I could not get a hold of netspend because of the hours .. I logged into my account and watched my money disappear one by one and I couldn't do anything to stop it because they didn't answer and closed. I filled out disputes with netspend and I got some back but not all. I was charged over draft fees because of the un auth usage of my card. they had to re send me all new cards ect. that took forever then I had to reset password many times.. I thought the nightmare was over, until Feb 7th when my account was hacked and every dime I had was gone . my irs check refund was applied just 1 day before . I was on the phone with rep as we both watched charges being made and I wasn't doing it . all from facebook which I wasn't on facebook because I was talking to netspend about my accounts. at that time he told me since they are in pending status that there is nothing they can do until they post and at that time to file disputes  he told me to wait until the 9th to do that which I followed his instructions .. so I filled out dispute on the 9th and 10th two times the grand total of the disputes were over 2000.00 . I couldn't pay rent , pay bills, get my medicine, food or nothing because of this issue. now on feb 13th 2014 it started again by me getting text saying my card was blocked .... at that time I called netspend again and they told me since there is so much hacking going on that netspend wants to protect their customers by adding additional security . so I had to answer questions to verify it was me and netspend had to send me a password to my email for me to log  in and re sett my password . I have the two emails that netspend had sent me. so I know my emails were good. now on feb 19th I get text saying my card was reported stolen which I didn't do that and netspend closed my account without letting me know. no email no call no nothing  and they know I get my ssi check in a few days .. and they know im expecting refunds and not to mention my disputes I have open . I was told that the choice was made by metabank which I called metabank and laura the lady I talked to told me they are just a sponser for netspend they don't have anything to do with the accounts. at that time I told her what had happened and she gave me to the fraud dept direct line . I wasn't able to even log in and get statements of all my transactions nothing . so I called the fraud dept and spoke to scott . well he didn't have a reason except they reviewed my account and made the choice to close it. I have never had my account reviewed since I opened it in 2008 . I asked him about the disputes and the money that is there on there he told he I should get a check from netspend within 6 days. and that my ssi check is going to be sent back to ssi. am not sure to believe these people anymore due to the fact that they have lied to me many times. am looking at being evicted now and no food. I know netspend can issue me a check and send it fed ex next day service and have me sign for it . I need to know whats going on with my disputes. I have screen shot of when I was in facebook playing a game and said “you logged on from another computer” how can I log on with another computer when I was on it already.. am in desperate need of some help please can u help me get all my money from netspend corp. I told netspend am expecting refund from women within I was also told by netspend that they are no pending refunds waiting to go into my account and that nothing would be able to post because of the account being closed  the people issuing the refund wouldnt be able to put it threw  it wouldn't leave their end....which is wrong,  I called women within to see if they redirect my refund to another card told them what had happened .they informed me that netspend had already accepted and approved the refund how can that be when my account was closed .. I can still get account balance threw text alerts again how can I get that if my accounts are closed .. please someone help me get all my money from these people and the disputes be settled and I get my money back. I also submitted an email to the CEO and got no response.

I NEED  my money im disabled and going to be homeless . i i have open disputes totals over 2000.00 not to mention my ssi check.

am enclosing a link that goes to the BBB for netspend and if you can look under the complaint tab u can see this happening to other people as well.. now all of us who has a complaint cant be wrong...
