These days, companies are aggressively trying to strong arm against a previously ignored issue- Adverse reviews. However, Net Zero has earned every drub and slap I have added here. They are free to sue in this litigious society, but I warn them, everything here is backed up with public record, government record, and single party consent recordings so any lawsuit will result in  a payday for me if they are so reckless as to try.

NetZero’s ads enticed me to sign up for their broadband service. Their map shows service on the edge of the Fairfax County Parkway in Virginia. No sooner did I sign up – that a technical co-worker told me NetZero did not work here but Cricket does. I tried to call them to confirm, and was met with idiocracy and poor customer service. I tried cancel my order, but NetZero refused. There is an email to my military account which is irrefutable on this issue. I eventually received the broadband device and in fact on the top floor (and all subsequent floors), at all corners and sides of the building (windows, balconies, and the building parking lot, there was no signal).

I called up and again ran the gauntlet of idiococracy and stupidity in cancelling my account. I was informed that I would not receive a refund if the device was not received by October 10th, 2013. Yesterday - October 15th, I received a call from NetZero saying again that they had not received the device. I am cautious and log each call because they say customer service charges are $1.99 per minute. I took valuable time out of my busy day for a valueless company. NetZero was asking ME for the tracking number, when the shipping label came from their web site!

I read them the riot act and informed them that a person named “High” had signed for the item at their facility in South Carolina on the 25th of September and gave them until close of Business yesterday to apologize and credit my account for all charges. I informed them that if they did not, I would be leveling a fraud charge against them and that is exactly what is happening today. I trust Visa will properly process the charge back, and NetZero will not just have lost a customer, but has recruited a Herald that will proclaim NetZero’s inadequacies until they go out of business. If you are thinking about NetZero, you have been warned!    Sincerely,
