Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We all know government is inefficient and that the ranks of slack jawed sloths and lazy bums who fill government offices all day do little to improve the situation. NJ's offices which handle the NJ Saver Rebate, Senior Freeze and Homestead Rebate epitomize such governmental laziness.

You CAN NOT ever get them to answer an email. I have emailed NJ Dept. of Treasury/Taxation repeatedly asking for answers to specific questions (the answers to which are NOT on their website) only to never hear from their office. If they do answer the phone, some half-human will invariably give you the wrong answer that even as a layman you know is wrong.

I think their aversion to answering emails is they do not want to commit their wrong answers to writing lest you hold them to their answer written in black and white. Shame on these cruds. Here's a sample of the only response you'll ever get from them (the automated response):

This is an automated reply e-mail. Do not reply to this message. We have received your email and a Division of Taxation representative will respond to your inquiry as quickly as possible. Due to unusually heavy mail volume response time may be 10 business days or longer.

PLEASE DO NOT RESEND YOUR INQUIRY OR RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL.

NJ Division of Taxation

Catch their drift? What it should say is "we'll never respond. Go screw yourself"
