I ordered the card on the internet because of the FIXED 9.99% interest rate. When I got the card, I decided I did not need it and called to cancel. I never activated the card and cut it up immediately.

When I called to cancel it, they said it was done and I wouldnt hear anything more from them. That was April 2001. It is April 2002 and I am still getting bills from them saying I owe late fees because the account was never paid.

I never even charged anything on the card because it was never even activated. As of right now they say I owe them $136.00 in fees and interest. This is a total ripoff! I have called repetedly and told them the account is closed and they said that the amounts were cleared and that this wouldnt happen again.

Needless to say I am still getting calls and letters from them. I am not a mean person, but I have had to get down right rude with them because of this. If anyone knows how to solve this please let me know.
